Hi All,

I thought I would get the ball rolling with the 2017 Kingston SE trip. Last year was an amazing experience and we're up for it again in January.

Now please do not let all the politics with the Blokarter put you off, the Clay Pan (Lake Nadzab) is plenty big to share as it covers an area of approx 600 hectares.

I have been looking at the calendar and for me, its a later start for Term One of school, so arriving on Saturday 14th January, leaving on Saturday 28th January 2017 is a possibility for Doug and myself. Staying at Kingston Caravan Park, the same plot as before.

Lets see what you are all thinking......

14-26 for Mel and I, really enjoyed the fireworks in Ballarat so we may do that again on the way back.
Booking a house for Chook and I at the moment, just waiting to hear back confirmation.

Yes, was thinking the same but not sure as we'll have Maggie - so we might see it on the drive through to home :)

Shall have to make our site booking before it fills up

@andy666 there's no way @Chook is going to surpass his 70km/h at Kingston without his fluffer being there.
It's therefor imperative you make the journey to well-prepare him before he takes to the claypan :good:

Aww that's harsh Joel.....................but bloody funny.

Andy wasn't even around when Rob and I were whipping you for speed this year, so better find another excuse mate.

Obviously you couldn't find anyone to give you a tune-up.:blind:

Gee, sounds more like a Sandy Point organised event. Getting cushier with every year passing.

Yep, getting older and time is getting shorter :D
Plus being closer to @bull31 to enjoy the Australian Open is a bonus :good:

We just need a tub of these...

So what's planned for the spit roast?

I better answer this before @igeighty comes up with something dirty.  At this stage, zip, zilch, nada.

Undecided if it's worth the effort and cost of dragging that much meat and apparatus up there.  I may contact the butcher in Kingston and see if they can do gyros meat which I can purchase there, would be much easier than having to cart it from Melbourne overnight.
