  1. Hi Tim Where are you located? I'm in Hoppers Crossing, Vic. It's been some years since I kite buggied and am thinking of parting with my kit including the PL Outlaw buggy pictured above. I also have a pretty big selection of depower foils of various sizes and sundry spares and body armour that have all been stored indoors and are in good to fair condition. If you're interested, let me know and we can negotiate. If you're local we can take it all out for a spin. I'd highly recommend you get your hands on one or more foils with handles like the ones mentioned by BobM rather than depower kites to learn with (I don't have any, sorry). A small mistake with a depower kite that's attached to you via a harness can easily end in an OBE (Out of Buggy Experience) and a ride in an ambulance. A kite with handles allows you to let go when things go pear shaped as they inevitably will. Whenever I've asked a group of kite buggiers to raise their hands if they've ever broken a bone doing this, it's usually unanimous apart from the ones who can't raise a hand due to their plaster casts. 2. @Chook Looks like a new build challenge!
  3. Thanks @Mez I'm a maybe. Currently my priority is to get around and see all the family I've been isolated from for the last few months. December dates might suit better, but keep me posted. Cheers Shane
  4. I have Dec off work. Fingers crossed we can go to Sandy Point!

    Freedom!

After VERRRRYY long break I finally got out on the buggy today. It was only a short one. About an hour and a half down at the much renovated Apex Park at Altona. 30+km SE wind with the trusty little 4m Ozone Access 2. I had really forgotten how much fun it is. Hopefully I'll get out a bit more over coming weeks.
  6. The 25th Oct is good for me too
  7. Hey there Mez. It'd be great to get out there again with the gang!
  8. If you're gonna be on the beach be careful of the seagulls
  9. Sorry Nigel. I'm working Saturday
  10. I'm booked in at the caravan park from the 19th till the 26th. I may get there a bit earlier if some other things align. Looking forward to setting you all there!
