John, out of interest, was just looking at Pinks beach "RV rest area" which has good reviews as long as there are not too many people there. Toilets kept clean etc. However, note there is a 72 hour stay limit. Quote

There are 3 o/n free RV areas in Kingston that I know of - the others may be o/n only and I think Bull mentioned o/nighting at the Granites too. So you could keep shuffling around...spend a night or two in each Mez 1 Quote

igeighty Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 Leaving here at 6 gets me to Natimuk about 10, it is 357 kilometres. If we can get away clean and early 10 is easily doable. Croydon to Natimuk I was interested in looking at portland dunes the way back, Discovery Bay Coastal Park, Victoria they cover a very large area. It Does appear to be very isolated in 2WD mode and squishy. Although.. it does look really big. with soft spots and firm spots. While i was looking for footage, I found that the video below gives a pretty good idea of the place. This is definitely a good use for the drone @.Joel sent out like a honey bee to find the good spot jhn.holgate and DrWind 2 Quote
jhn.holgate Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 Let me know when you're leaving - if you're a little later, I'll have another cuppa before I go... igeighty 1 Quote
