kid in a lolly shop! Or a Pig in excrement. Just wanted to share my joy with someone that cares (hopefully). LOL Got my lines and handles today. Resleeved the lines and attached them to my Bora. Now I´m hoping that the forecast 13 - 15 knot NNE winds for tomorrow might be a bit lower at Chelsea Bicentennial Park. Can´t wait to get out tomorrow and practice on my Bora. As anything over 10 knots will probably kill me I will have to wait even longer with my practice sessions. Fingers crossed for light winds.

It's that time of year again...and as far as I can make out we didn't have a winner for 2014, so It's A Rollover! Unbelievably Dennis Healey is still alive at 97, probably sitting in a pile of his own shit, smelling of wee, and being subjected to elder abuse by an underpaid teenage 'carer'. But enough about Britain's 21st century social problems, this is all about fun.... So, esteemed fellow forum members, let's play....'Celebrity Death Wish 2015!!!'... I nominate Kirk Douglas.

Have been having trouble with my Mb phone and webmail. Rang Optus over the last few days and got nowhere. Finally cracked it and went into the optus shop. They had no interest and told me to call tech support. The only person who would give me the time of day was Joel. He offered to help so l drove into Richmond. Got there at 11.30am. From then till 4pm we were either getting the run around or just put into the too hard basket. I have never had such a bad experience from anything else like this in my life. After multiple times of trying finally snapped and put a complaint into the TIO. They finally put us onto someone who knew their job and it was somewhat sorted. So aft…

Quick version of the story, after users have been utilising the photobucket service for years they did a quiet update to their terms & conditions a few days ago and then people woke up to find their hosted images replaced with a notice that their account had been restricted / features disabled. Even if you were a paying customer, now unless you upgrade to the $399USD/year account you can no longer share your photos on 3rd party websites. And this is exactly what I was discussing previously here in a Blog post in our News section.... http://www.extremekites.com.au/blogs/entry/198-because-history-matters/ Here's the image in place... You …

I am going to be in Melbourne from the 25th to 28th of August and I am looking for recommendations to keep me interested on the afternoon of Friday the 25th and I have a little time on Monday the 28th before flying out at 11am. If anyone wants to do something different then join me at the Show Grounds for mixed Roller Derby - I'll be both playing and officiating (different games naturally) on the Saturday and Sunday

If you've been watching over the past 72 hours, everyone including the bookies had it as a Remain vote. Since lunch time it looks like the Leave vote has it in the bag, and a brexit is underway! AUD is up 7.5% against the GBP, lets see if we can reach a 20% discount here

Don't you just love the care taken!!!! Lucky they took notice of the sticker eh??? It could have been the "Royal" or "Aussie" post that tested the package for structural integrity. Glad the kite was very well wrapped tightly inside with bubble wrap, and all the 8 spars flexed enough!!!! Anne my wife took a photo of it laying on the post office bench before she signed and collected it just in case.

I'm out ...... Fugly seems there is something wrong with this statement also.... ""Holden will also offer the new Commodore with a choice of a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol or 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, both of which will feed their power to the front wheels.""

Well my lady (Mrs Chook) has progressed from singing in @.Joel's shower in Kingston and belting it out with @Mez under the pine trees on the foreshore. From 2.11 is her song.

My partner kristy wants me to look at getting private health insurance. I already have extras cover, which I can see a benefit to, but I'm really not sure if stepping up to hospital cover is worth it. from what I've looked at, it seems that you need to have the very top level of cover or it only really covers accidents (which you are going to end up in the public emergency room for anyhow) my main concern though is being hit with an unforeseen bill after going in as a private patient, because there is a lot that the insurance DOESN'T cover, and you can't change your mind after you are admitted. They don't cover emergency room cost. So if only in there for a…

Ever wondered how to calculate the height at which clouds may form? So who ever wonders about this? Pilots of airplanes do or some one wanting to fly their RC glider up in the hills. So here I am waiting for the weather to clear ready for some slope soaring, have from the local weather maps data on air surface temperature and relative humidity at various locations. Can visually see some of those locations from my place but not all of them, so no point in driving out to those places if they are all fogged in. So off to do some research on how to perform such calculations. By they way, very difficult if not impossible to fly white planes on a back drop of grey fog blasting …
