What do you think my chances are of getting a warranty claim on one of the extreme kites t-shirts? I love this shirt, but after ONLY 8 years of regular exposure to sweat, salt water, sunscreen and sunlight it has started to fall apart. @.Joel what was the warranty period on these shirts, because I feel like I should of got at least 10yrs out of it? ?

Haven’t posted in while been busy more with music compositions, but still kiting and slope soaring my gliders with my son Zachary here in Christchurch. The Distraction by Norman Freund https://youtu.be/0exNctKqQkc Special thanks to my son Zachary for helping out with the time lapse pre-processing and advice during the music production. No I have not switched to LEI’s ha ha, some one else kiting in the beach scene. Hey @bakersdozen, thanks for putting me on to the Reaper DAW (Digital Workstation). Takes a bit to get used to it to feel free enough to be creative with it. I tried putting the video together with Adobe Premier Elements, very clunky, wrecked …

Today will be our first kiting trip without our Maggie. As many of you know Maggie came on every trip/meet we attended so today will be very strange not having her with us and the beach will be that little bit lonely without her there, watching the buggy's go by. Not a day goes by when she is missed. So here's to you Maggie Moo, the keeper of kites xxx

I wonder if this will be a topic of interest to some folks. I've recently taken it upon myself to make a hydrofoil kite board, laminating with mainly fiber glass and vacuum bagging the parts . I have to say that I have a new found respect for those who do it and do it well. The project has cost hundreds in materials and and equipment, (vacuum pump, consumables etc) and many hours on YouTube. But still I find it a challenge to get great results. As well as making the hydrofoil I've modified an old Liquid Force surf board by shortening it and dropping in the fin boxes to attach the base plate of the hydrofoil. It has been a long, hard slog but i think I might get the w…

Hi, Over on a different forum was sent here for advice and specifically from Plummet ( http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=36463#pid334543 ). My post count is too low to message Plummet directly though! Basically I've been flying FB kites for kite buggying for years and getting sick of wet sand / sand ending sessions, also lulls and gusts causing issues, so over on that other thread I'm looking at a 9m Cabrinha Switchblade. My considerations are this; Solo flying possible for launches and lands (this is essential). Suitable for Beaufort 4 to 6. (9m Cabrinha is listed as 13-27 knots, Bf4 to Bf 6), although theses are probably rec…
