  4. I've had a Rev for a few years. I reckon a coast trip would be the way to go. That constant sea breeze is going to make it much easier to learn. If you can get an 8-12 knot seabreeze that would be ideal. I don't use my Rev inland, for static flying I prefer a small quad line foil kite for the gusty conditions - I've got a 1.2m ozone. For Canberra you might be OK in afternoon easterly - good time of year for those. I'd take a second person to help with relaunch if persisting in Canberra. If you break a spar Kitepower in Sydney had spares last time I needed one. Hard nose down landings when
  5. @Tiger37 the top photo is the kite set up. Quad lines just attach to to bridle, you can kind of make out the pigtails on that same pic.
  6. In a back seat witnessing one man's mission to bring a collective history of kiting together, I thought the community better put the question up whether @.Joel there is anything we can help with. While most of us aren't coders there might be some in the community who are, so feel free to put up a call for assistance. If you've got it all under control, no worries. When the times right stick a "say thanks" button up the top of the website linked to your paypal account, or a "high-5" button with hit counter. Be good to show some appreciation.

  13. If I had time to prototype I being making a paddle with spring loaded section, like a suspension bike seat post. Compresses when pushed down at the front of the board and then gives you a spring assisted push as you roll past the center of effort.
