Pansh is a fraud! Don't buy it. *They don't want to ship my 2nd order and they don't want to give my money back. Big Fraud. Hear my story: I purchased a kite 15m Kestrel Pansh, 4 different lines broke after only 50 hours of riding it. The kite never fell to the water, and all broke in the air. Each line on a different day. I emailed them to send me new lines and said that I am willing to pay for it (even though it wasn't my fault), they ignored my email. I complained about it in the Pansh group in Kestrel, being low quality kite. Then I emailed them again with the screenshot of FB group of my complain, finally they answered really …

The easiest for a beginner are usually the wave kites. This is because these kites have super good depower, fast relaunch and are very forgiving. Examples of this are the Carbinha Drifter, North Carve, Airush Session and Duotone Neo. These kites are often used by kitesurfing schools to teach.

Does anyone know this guy ???? I bought a kite off him for £625 from eBay on the 25/03/12..... It's now 07/04/12 and no kite !!!! I've messaged him on ebay asking for a tracking number, asking is he planning to send the kite or is he messing me about, asking for him to contact me, asking him to return the money if he's changed his mind. Found him on facebook and asked him the same. Emailled him at hotmail..... etc etc etc NO REPLY. He teaches kitesurfing using the name FUNKY VOODOO (which is also on facebook). Vietnam is a really great place for a kite holiday. Consistent wind, nice and chilled people, lots of good food. Here’s a few pics https://www.facebook.com/100064057809685/posts/pfbid02GiySSE8eiUx4Skg3BH1YnvFxztpvneogfoz3egejqoa5H1HFtgoz3fiauHPFKAAul/?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experience with either / both of these kites. I’ve been flying FS foils for years now but this year decided to go back to the dark side as I want to work on boosting big. I posted on some of the FB groups to see if anyone had a Boost 3 and then a couple of weeks later I bought a pair (9m & 12m) of pivots. Then yesterday I was contacted by a seller in Sydney that wanted to get rid of their Boost 3 9m (inc bar and lines). So option 1 is to keep my pivots and sell my 12m Speed5 , option 2 is to sell the pivots and buy the 9m Boost3 (and keep the S5, as I probably wouldn’t get much for it anyway). Any advi…

After waiting for more than three months because of the Covid back log, I picked up my Soul2 10m a couple of days ago. Yesterday I put it together, gave it a good looking over then headed to the beach to fly it in 8 knots. I was immediately blown away and excited by how much quicker it turned being a 10m and on the shorter 17m lines compared to my 12m and the 20m lines. Very responsive. Then I thought I would see if I could get going on the land board in so little wind. To my surprise it wasn't to hard, turning the kite quicker to generate more power made it surprisingly good fun for such a light wind day. Today I drove to Byron Bay desperate to get …

So I gave my first Kitesurfing lesson today. I got out my 9m Naish Ride that I literally just spent another $192 to fix a massive rip from the last time I used it. I got it especially repaired for this lesson, rushed into to Moti on Friday morning and had it back by that evening, nice one Moti?. So the lesson went like this: usual explanation of the wind window, power zone, bar safety features, laying out lines, etc (probably missed something out but I'm sure someone will pull me up on it!) blowing up kite- whats that noise? Bloody leaking valve. Fortunately I had the 8M Soul in the car, so the student got to learn on a foil kite. They said the had fun and enjoy…

I just watched the new Soul video from Flysurfer and it has a new colour scheme. Does anyone know if there have been any upgrades to the kite?

Last season was one of the worst for years. I'd planned to get more practice in on the foil board but that didn't happen. I blame the wind condition of course 😉. Nah, just so frickin' hard and I didn't get enough time on flat water conditions. Anyway I want an easier, more immediate solutions to get out in those really low wind days so I have a new Flydoor 6 on it's way. Once I get a bit of time on it I'll report back, maybe a little review. Has anyone had experience with the Flydoors? I'd be keen to hear what you think of them.

Onshore winds, clean surf and summer time, what more could you ask for? Kitesurfing session from a couple of weeks ago at New Brighton Beach, South Island, New Zealand. My kite was a FlySurfer Psycho IV 10 m^2, riding strapless on a Byrne surfboard. Filmed with a GoPro Hero2. Music, “Wind Swirl”, composed, performed and produced by Norman Freund, also on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/norman-freund/wind-swirl Video: https://youtu.be/KydZurZumeM

I think the last time I had a holiday in Australia was the last time i went to Yeppoon the the EK guys and gals. A few years ago, 2012 I think. I got away over New Year, went up to Hervey Bay to stay and look specifically for good flat water conditions that I could practice getting going on the foil board. Thanks to some Seabreeze forum advice I had a couple of days at Elliot Heads and one day at Woodgate. I loved these two spots, especially Woodgate. The wind was crap for two of the three sessions, maybe 10-12 knots, but the Soul did itself proud and I was still able to practice my foil board starts and ride along, until inevitable I'd crash. Not enough wind fo…

Interesting watch, they've dug up some kooky inventions and tested some of them from the patents published.

I have been waiting on the side lines patiently for some years now, hmm shall I buy one, shall I make one, too expensive, bills to pay ... Any way, Niash have currently a special going on, well I guess it's a special since they are offering a complete foilboard package for just under 2000 $NZ -- the board, mast, foot straps, fuselage, horizontal stabilizer and main wing. Purchased from KiteSports New Zealand, South New Brighton. Sure lots of other deals going, but want to support the local kitesurf shop. Sure it's a beginners board, but that is what I am with foilboards at the moment, and if I decide to upgrade, Zac gets to use it. Hey and guess who suggested the board to…

Kevin Langeree announces launching his new kitesurfing brand Reedin Kites. He's partnered up with Damien Girardin whom previously worked for Naish Kiteboarding. I remember interviewing Kevin back in around 2009 for a podcast after he had just won the world freestyle championships. A decade later being at the top of the sport he launches his own brand. Incredible progression, can't wait to see how he moves forward. https://www.reedinkites.com/
