sluggo Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Nice one Andy . Who's dragging the cop car ?? And is that Chook becoming unstuck at the end ?? Quote
Chook Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 See what ya missed Sluggo................ Yeh at 2.16 you can see where "just one more run" in 7 knots with 13.4m2 will take you. Yeh right to the end of the clip, chooks can fly. Poor old Faulty spent the next hour resetting all the clocks at Driftwood. Everyone had to abide by the speed limit except us. They were doing RBTs as well. Andy filmed the Police alongside him for ages. They were good sports. Quote
andy666 Posted May 8, 2014 Author Report Posted May 8, 2014 Yeah, I wanted to get over closer to them, but there was a heap of ruts up the middle of the beach that day and crossing over at 40+kmh wasn't an option. We all know chooks can fly short distances, but I was amazed when I saw one swimming Quote
SoutherlyBuster Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 So what's the story on the swimming bit, saw that on the video and wondered? Did you try and boost over the river Chook? Norman. Quote

jabroni Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 So what's the story on the swimming bit, saw that on the video and wondered? Did you try and boost over the river Chook? Norman. We went for a run 20km up the beach then back. When we left, the creek was ankle deep. When we got back the creek was up to my shoulders. By the time chook crossed, he couldn't touch the bottom. Rob forgot his floaties, so we had to pick him up. Quote
Clive Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 Nice edit Andy , well done . Looks like the shoulder held up well .... Couldn't resist huh. Quote
andy666 Posted May 9, 2014 Author Report Posted May 9, 2014 I definitely wasn't going to miss out, but I didn't push myself and flew under powered most of the time. You wouldn't believe it but I had an appointment with the surgeon when I got home and was telling him about the trip. After I explained that the kite is attached to a harness and only need to control the steering, he said it would of been a great stability excercise for the shoulder. Quote
SoutherlyBuster Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 You'd make a great politician Andy, great spin doctor . Good to hear you are back in the sadle. Quote
Clive Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 So where's the 2015 yepoon thread ? Quote
Chook Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Dunno. But I've booked another lunar eclipse for the 4th of April already. Faulty, tee up that seat ready for me mate. Quote
