Spartan Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 The proper stunt kite, the stunt kite of all stunt kites The Rev.. I know we've all seen this before but its so good it must be seen once again. Quote
jhn.holgate Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 I would swear that kite is showing off..... must get me one of them.... (sigh....add it to the list of things... ) Quote
Chook Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 This is my favorite Rev vid. I really need to save up to update to a B series after flying Wolfies. Quote
Spartan Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 You cant tell me there's any other kite that comes any where near this true stunt-trick kite. Impressive Quote
KaoS Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 If you want to see what this kite can really do check out vids starring Guido Maiocchi or Steff Ferme - probably the world's top two Rev flyers right now (followed pretty closely by Carl or James Robertshaw) Kevin Willunga, S.A Quote
nigel Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Hey Gorge, you should be at the Adelaide kite fester. The perfect place to do exactly what the guy in the first vid was doing. And be allowed to do it. He needs to do some improvement, I land my Rev on the outstretched hands of the kids on the peir, or tap people on the head with the kite. John, have you flown a Rev? Will have to get my B series out and show you how it's done some time. 6 knots is about perfect. Just on the bottom end of when we pull the buggies out. Maybe speed week? If you can fly a Rev well, it will give you so much more control over any other 4 line kite you want to fly. Quote
jhn.holgate Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 John, have you flown a Rev? Not yet....I don't even think I've seen one in the flesh....er, nylon... Maybe speed week? That would be great Quote
zahra Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Amazing!!!!! So cool...i like the way its showing offf!! Quote
kiteguy66 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Hey there, First time here. Thanks to Peter for telling me about this site. Thanks for the nice comments. The guy that took the footage stopped about 2 minutes before a guy put his baseball cap on the tip of the kite and let me fly it up and set it on the light pole, it was hilarious. Anyway, I think all of you need to get out here to Huntington Beach for the KITE PARTY in March and fly with us! Anyway, it's really cool to see how popular this footage has become. BTW, that color pattern has been requested so much I'll be adding it as a CUSTOM B Series pattern shortly. All the best, Dave The dude flying it. Quote
nigel Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 Welcome Dave Good skills on show there. It's always fun to interact with the crowd. Not sure you'll get many of us visiting in March, we're just a little to far away for a weekend visit. Quote
sherwinelioreg21 Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 wow! brilliant trickery out there..it's like the kite is being controlled using a remote control..lol! but I heard this kite is overpriced? how true is it? Quote
Pari Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Wow, that's awesome, I've never seen anything like that before. How do they do that and not get the strings all tangled up. Amazing!! Quote
Prawnstar076 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 love those two videos, one of the reasons i got me a rev. cant wait till the iquad team come out here in May Quote
