Hi Pete, welcome to XK.  Is it the old Berlin Airport that you have over there that's been converted to a park where I see lot of people flying?  Looks like a fantastic spot.  Good luck in the comp.

Hi.

Colin from Canada here.

Just getting in to power kites, and I've bought a lot of used crap (and a couple nice ones). A brand spanking new kite would be awsome.

Maybe next week you guys could please give away a buggy . Ha ha.

Hi I'm Ian and I fly / make single skin kites, though the making drives my wife to distraction, especially when there's a kite being bridled up :D Just a little taster of what I get up to, will post more pics in the gallery later:

Three of the new breed type kites:

Red / white 12m2 with an AR 4.7, Green / white 7.2m2 with an AR 4.7 and Orange / white 5m2 AR 4.2 (Not to scale)

Hi

New to this forum, I have a Nasa Star2 7m (purchased just as the star 3 was released).

Nasa Star kites are excellent, good build quality, easy to set up, light... Best bit is they are super stable and a joy to fly. I fly in a buggy but also learning to use the Nasa Star kite with a dirt surfer !

The opportunity to win another for my collection can not be missed.

PS... if Born-Kite-Shop are looking for a UK sponsored rider,.. look no further and contact me asap.

Hey, Rectifier here of SK, Canada. Loved kites all my life and have built a few over the years. I like to build out of Tyvek as it is incredibly robust in impacts with crop stubble.

I ride snow out in the farm fields with my quiver of homemade NPWs, which is dominated by the experimental 7m Depower NPW21 built under the guidance of BigE the singleskin master (as is obvious in the above posts ^^^)

I would love to own one of these Nasa Stars, this one is beautiful and would fill a spot for a kite on a bar. Never got any of my NPWs to fly nicely on a bar so this would be fun!

Wo hoo, another Durfer rider. They  are hard to come by these days since the compny went out of business. I have a second hand one, full Al frame. Welcome to the EK.

But what about that line "... employees, friends, family and assocites of ... are not eligible to enter" like in most comps!?

Ahhh ok.. I'll shut up now! :cray:

What line?  Where's it say that?   Besides, I consider most of you lot my friends....... and we're sort of a big family :friends:
