I think you'll find it's still a front steer buggy, but with 2 front wheels and one rear.
2000 posts.

I can't see any specs on weight, but I imagine it's going to be heavy (8mm plates on the side rails for example) Not going to be as good for freestyle as the old, lighter PL buggy or the Flexi buggy.

Very nice indeed
Also, a little editing and there's an advert for VW in there too.

Never used one. To be honest, never even heard of them.

Dunno Joel, I don't reckon that it is mechanically possible even if the bottom shaft was driven both ends.
It would throw sideways and the connecting rod would hit the inside of the liner.

Maybe....... with internal worm gearing in the oscillation box?
See I was looking at it the other way. The piston was the driver and the bottom shafts the output.
I think it would be possible for it to drive, but only at VERY low speed and load as there is nothing supporting the crank (the part wobbling back and forth) so it would bend/break from inertia or load.
its a beautiful example of mechanical geometry though.

@jhn.holgate let me know if it Joel's suggest suggestion works. I was with unblock-us and it was great for about 6 months, then Netflix started geo blocking. Now I just have Australian Netflix and stan.
Side note, stan has sign a deal with Showtime, so gets a heap of their shows now. If you get stan, watch billions.

I applaud you brad for trying to make our sport safer. So many things can go wrong so quickly and if your product can save a kitesurfer just once, then it is worth it.
Im no expert with LEI kites, up until last year I had only flown foils, but I have a critical eye, so I have a few questions and criticisms about your product.
firstly, what is the shear force on the nylon pin in your setup? The video isn't very clear on that. And how was this breaking load determined to be appropriate to all kites.
what is your opinion of the solo launch assist being built into many kites now? Surely that must be the safer option if available?
also, I have never seen anyone try to solo launch a kite with a tether and it isn't how I taught, so why are you promoting it? And why try to land with a tether and not just on the safety if the winds are that strong? But as I said I have limited experience with LEI's
Lastly, I'm not sure how either of the real world examples in your video would of been prevented with your tether?

I hate you John.

Nice work. Any little project to get out to the garage is a winner.

Nice, I can't wait to see some video of it in flight. There is very little info online about them, so I can't wait for your full review.
where did you get it from as I haven't seen anyone selling them online yet?
-
Bloody impressive.

Possible not the best promotional videos as both show people struggling to fly the 1120
honestly though, for that price (with bar and lines) you can't go wrong. There is also heaps of info online about how to modify them to give more depower and better handling.

But what came in 1st and 2nd?

Yeah, the bumpy ground
If that's all you ride on then I can understand getting used to it, but it will be a magic experience when you get on a beach. Smooth ride, power slides, more grip.

My back hurt just watching that
But that last shot of the drive home looked very cool.
i have to try one of those nasa stars soon.

I don't understand why flysurfer needs to release the speed kites as a painfully slow trickle? They did the same thing with the speed 4 lotus! Just release every size at once, like every other kite in the range!
-
How do they go with sand and moister? If you are planning on mounting it to a kite or the buggy it may be a problem.
and it looks like most of them do t allow you to use the GoPro case, so possible damaged camera too.
Enough pessimism, the footage should look cool though.

I used to store my kites inside large gal toolboxes, but have since upgraded to a gal storage cupboard in the garage. I also put a tray of moister absorber crystals in with the kites too, so I don't have to panic if they are still a bit damp when packed away.
