PaulLaurie Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 Fantastic day down the beach today, beautiful sunshine, 18 mph NW, Sand was flat as a pancake, best sunset I've ever seen, spill from a ship off Crosby washed up 100 crates of Guiness, Lager and Krug and a bunch of Pixies were handing out free Ozone Manta's. Not a bad day all in all!

Match Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Yep, today saw the fruits of our labours, with buggy jumping finally permitted on Ainsdale Beach. To buggy jump at Ainsdale you must pass a short assessment of your equipment and skills, and then apply to the rangers for a new KZ-J Permit. Today Simon, Mike and myself were all sanctioned to assess any buggier who wants to jump. LINK TO ASSESSMENT SHEET We will do assessments by prior arrangement through the winter and then at our club nights through the summer. Anyone wanting to arrange one, please read the linked sheet and send me a PM or email. Thanks to Mike and Si, Alex at Hangtime and SCCS for help, info and a great day.
