nolan Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Can anyone explain the current situation with permits? When I renewed mine at the end of last year, I got one that runs until the end of this month (insurance not due until Sept), but my mate got one last week that runs into 2008. WTF?
wurzel Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Can anyone explain the current situation with permits?WTF? thats a new one:D
nolan Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 LOL! I'm trying not to stir a hornets' nest by asking. I'd assumed that there was gonna be a change to the permit system as of April (hence only issuing mine until the end of this month), but it looks as if nowt's changing. Was there an intention to change the system? Basically, why does my permit run out in a few weeks but Jay's is valid into next year?

Match Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Anyone know what state the beach is in? SW tomorrow afternoon so it needs to be in good nick to make it worthwhile. No chance of any inland flying, everywhere is sodden.
nolan Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Matt, PM your address, I've got a disc for you. It's full of pics of your antics at BRS. I had it in the van on Saturday, but you decided that you had better things to do Ungrateful barst

I got a new one through the post too, valid until the same date my insurance expires - (think its sept or nov), think i'v gone and lost it though:( . Maybe they just forgot to send you a new one or it got lost in the post..... Give them a call.
SandMonster Posted March 6, 2007 Author Report Posted March 6, 2007 Nolan I think you got caught in the the changes that were roumoured to be happening early this year that aren't now by the sound of things. When I renewed mine & Tom's in January the new permits run until the insurance runs out. Just give Jill (Gill?) a call or pop in to the office;) Matt, it was a typical ful moon beach, fairly ripply with loads of patches of potholes on Sat...but things could've changed since then...

I'll be down there for the next few weekends, got to open up my static in Abersoch so its a shame not to pay a visit to BRS. This weekend looks as though it could be mental winds:D

JohnDave Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Weekend's looking like some good weather for both days, SW 20 - 30+ Mph, great for either Black Rock, Newborough or Ainsdale. Guess it's the usual game of watch the forecast, who's out?

nolan Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 BRS looking sweet for Saturday:) SW bang onshore and just like our favourite women, in the ealry 20s:cool: Oh man!! I was thinking of staying closer to home, but that's too much of a temptation. We're going to see Arcade Fire in Manchester on Friday night, but we shouldn't be too late home, so an early rise could well be on the cards. G, are you gonna be there anyway? Is it caravan opening weekend?
popeyethewelder Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 what is BRS.....and can you buggy at FORMBY, wind looks like its turning, if we are coming all this way we need to b at the right beach
Snowman Taff Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Hi all, Planning a trip to Ainsdale on saturday, coming up from South Wales. If the winds stays SW as predicted now, where is the best spot for any chance of a decent run with the buggy???? Just so we have a plan before we set off. thanks for any info
