PanthermanCT Posted June 10, 2015 Report Posted June 10, 2015 Hey all! My name is Corey. I live in Portland, Oregon. I have recently found an interest in stunt kiting and I have come to the point where I'd love to move up with my gear. I attached a photo of my girlfriend flying my kite! She was resistant to try it at first, but then she got into it! Haha Quote

.Joel Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 BTW- In a past life I was a goat until Joel had me sacrificed. Lets be clear about this.....1) The goats name was Jason2) YOU fed it the banana3) NEXT time we went to Sandy Point and asked at the cafe they told us "Oh, sorry Jason the goat has died." In memory of Jason the Goat from Fish Creek, Victoria Quote
soliver Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Jason sounds like he might have been a nice kid... we regretfully mourn his loss On the subject of speed; I haven't clocked a speed with my Nasa's yet, but I'm pretty sure that I've gotten up around 20 mph (if not over 20 mph) on Saint Simons Island, GA with my 5.5m... not sure what that is in kph though Edited June 12, 2015 by soliver Quote

Yeah, sometimes it's hard to explain that they're like golf clubs....you can't play a round of golf properly with just one club!! What have you got presently, Dan? Quote
MoreWind Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Greetings! I'm Ari from Vancouver, Canada and it's been a pleasure talking with other fellow kiters on here and in general. I'm quite new to power kiting and would really benefit from a Nasa Star. In a month or two I'm planning on getting my first bug so this would definitely be fun to try out with the Nasa. I own a PL Hornet 3.0m and love it! Thanks for the awesome contest. I will be sure to spread the word with a few buddies of mine who haven't joined this forum yet. Much love from Vancouver! Cheers, Ari Edited June 12, 2015 by MoreWind Quote

Mick14 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Hi I'm Mike. I fly almost every style of kite, every day if I can. But I haven't got a NASA Star. Please put me in the draw and pull me out. Quote

dangerdan Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Put me in the draw. Hi guys my name is Ralph I would like to give this kite another chance now that I seen it in action with someone who knows how to fly it. I regret selling the 3.2 M but the odds look good for winning this kite. Good luck to all and may the best man / women win Edited June 12, 2015 by dangerdan Quote
WillK Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Hi, I'm Will, from the UK. I have just started powerkiting and would love to try out a NASA! Cheers. Quote
vaultingbassist Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Hey Everyone!I started with a 4 line kite last summer, quickly got a mountainboard, and then this spring hit the water for some lessons and bought some gear. Kiting upwind and hitting transitions so my next step is jumping! I've heard great things about the NS3s and would love to try one out. Haven't been landboarding much as my fields have gusty winds, which I've heard is what the NSs are good for! gum-nuts 1 Quote
1OldKid Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Ok I'll make the odds 33! I have been trying to make some of these and after learning what it takes I now certainly appreciate ( and applaud!) the folks that do ... I would love to have a professionally made one, but like DanH, I'm not sure my better half would agree to MORE kites....! unless I was lucky enough to win one! Please include my name in the drawing... Thanks John and Borne Kites for this event! gum-nuts 1 Quote
