Going to depend on weather and work at this stage. Will be calling in for a visit and a catch up with Chook. Trying to save my back for Easter as I aggravated it last week so no kiting in silly winds for me

If the seas get big enough might be a few less dunes to go over this year. Beach is going to be wet as for a while though as all the water runs out of the sand. Might be a bit of aquaplaning this year.

Cyclone Debbie looks like she is going to go on a big rampage through Central QLD tomorrow. With a destructive zone around 300-400 km across Debbie is is one of the biggest cyclones QLD has seen for quite a few years.. Good Luck to all those in the path of her fury. I hope you and your families are safe and come out the other side in one piece. After going through Cyclone Marcia 2 years ago, I really feel for anyone that has to go through Cyclone Debbie

If only Debbie wasn't a massive cyclone Hoping she misses us, had enough rain last week. The King Tide early in the week is going to make this one a bit of a nail biter for Central Queensland. They are in full swing battening down the hatches and evacuating low areas up between Mackay and Townsville. Looking like we are going to get all the rain on the South side after it crosses the coast. Going to be interesting driving around CQ for work this week. Started getting a bit of wind and rain tonight after a very calm couple of days.

Only to keep the stingers at bay. Be aware that at times there can be Box Jellyfish and Irukandji present in the waters off the Capricorn Coast. (If stung seek medical attention) Oh and the Occasional Salt Water croc. Doesn't stop people swimming, but it pays to be aware. I reckon it was for more than a moment. How the hell he got away without being killed is beyond me looks like he went up at least 25- 30m and comes down unhooked into what looks like a foot of water side on with the board driving straight into the bottom. I was waiting for bones to be sticking out of the wetsuit. Seriously lucky he didnt get killed. Miracle he only got a damaged eardrum.
