What are people thinking of doing this Saturday?

I have no kids and no wife until 7pm and I just have received a strop for my rage to try my harness out.

Tides are looking good, but wind isn't (offshore)! I know the aospkc meeting is on at 6pm, so I guess it will still be Ainsdale for most?

tides are low, so it could have be OK at BLS / Middleton in the easterlies...who organised a meeting...? ;) :D

Oh, what a shame. I've never been to Middleton. Google maps says Middleton to Ainsdale: 63.1 mi – about 1 hour 33 mins. That's a lot of extra miles for people who want to attend the meeting.

middleton doable at weekend?

Ment to be going black rock but could be swayed going middleton. (that the one next to the nuke station?)

Yep...if tides are lower than 8.3 its s'pposed to start drying out (I think) & the high tide on thu eve is 8.4 ...

yer no problem. Might be a few going if we do. More the merryer :)

I'm sorry but I've finally decided to go to Hoylake and watch the races on Saturday and have a little run around myself there. My maiden trip to Middleton will have to be for another day...

Hoylake is quite similar to Middleton in a lot of ways (except for the scousers... ;) :p )

& just a another reminder:

You might use it to open wine??

Hi Carl,

Were you hinting at a corkscrew kite stake here? I might have left that behind a few days before you found it. I was getting my kit ready on Saturday to go to Hoylake and couldn't find my stake anywhere, so did probably forget it at Ainsdale last time I flew there.

Yep, Ant's pic of my Manta was the inspiration. Got some tidying to do now its in place but I'm pretty chuffed.

Tom's done the work on the Live Ainsdale wind meter, including a correction for the incorrect wind direction from the Sefton server.

website is looking nice mate, we need to get some ideas together for more images and set them up. maybe use the desaturate/colour as a theme? or b/w cos it works with the website. had an idea for good cheap publicity for the club that will be a laugh to do.

ant, if you can remember what you left on the beach yesterday you can have it as i found it this morning!!

We should strap a beachcomber to Ant's ar$e, picking up the stuff he leaves behind.

Think it was mine, purple ripstop attached?

i think it might be matt's as it has a ribbon attatched.

lol you can borrow my beachcomber if you want but i dont think the straps are big enough to fit it on your arse:confused::D
