That was circa 2001 and a holiday I'll never remember.....

Was down at Ainsdale on sunday, got all the kit on, luurvly onshore, one run down the beach and noticed it was hard work... a flat tyre:eek: looooong walk back. Anyway, took my helmet off and dropped it on top of someones bag to keep the sand out a little, but then got caught up in trying to fix my dead tyre... anyway long story short, couldnt fix tyre, did some static instead, just so I didnt have a complete wasted day. BUT... forgot to pick my damn helmet up , I remember putting down on top of a red bag, think it was a 5m riot bag (red and black anyway). If its any help I was setting up near carl / big-john, and some other buggy guys. If anyone has chucked it in back of car then can they give me a shout. Its only a cheapy stateside type black one, but it fits! and I have no local shop to go pick another up and cant remember what size I bought in the first place!!. If all else fails.. can anyone list any shops near manchester / liverpool. cheers rob

I just need to try and catch up with Garry now and get the other kite, lines and bars and I will be all set to cruise up and down the sandbanks moaning about those pesky buggiers getting in my way Looks like you are off to BRS again Garry, maybe the best way for me to get the kite would be by post?? I would join you at BRS but my BPKA insurance has not come through yet.

You could almost close your eyes and imagine coral blue seas and palm trees. Must be the Ainsdale micro-climate - deffo closer to Bermuda than Blackpool. Even the Beeb's promising us a double figures bikini bash. Grab that neoprene and get thee down there laddie.
