Neat pics Pooly dude. Get the mate to take me up and I promise to take your piccie :).

Hopefully a Halloween dip is on for tomorrow. XC easing off to a respectable mid 20s, but looking at Cobs, think it'll be 30s, so wee V is packed and ready.

Might make it late for a couple of hours and then the light'll fade as it turns into a spooktacular session with maybe one or two kiting tricks and beer treats :).

Fantastic late afternoon kiting fix :D. Big, big Northerlies. Just a few of us out, then a goon opened up and it was just surreal, wee V and a flx132 - nobods around cept an escaped boy and it was just pure bliss.

Had a couple of locals all togged up staring at the local nutter, hooping and hollerin' out in those cold waters - did a cool big jump and landed sweet as a nut on the sand - gave 'em a big a grin then jumped back in screamin' - dudes it was just the best :D.

Found I hadn't done the deflate zip up on the wee little'un but didn't matter cos there was so much wind around screaming into those vents.

Cheers to Carl for sticking around till I came in - that dude gets more sand between his toes than I do :).

Those bouys give me the eebie jeebies, the thought of that cold wet seaweedy rope heading down to a large weight at the bottom, sends a shiver down my spine.

I forgot I was wobbly with them till I was at BRS on Saturday, went right close to a starboard mark and the wobblies kicked in. I sailed away quick as I could really scared.

Dave,

Feel the same as you mate hate the thought of the rope going into the dark depths, hence normally give em a wide birth. :o

That said when we kayak with the kids in Coniston water I have no issue with seeing which of the kids can sit on top of the buoys (inflatable ones) the longest, its a fun game which involves everyone but me getting wet.:D

Glad I'm not alone then.

I'll be busy all day Saturday, but may get down Sunday afternoon for a bit. Looking good for all weekend, mid teen westerlies, clear but cold.

Looking at the high n low tide Sat & Sun theres going to be no car park early doors but that elusive 4th bank when it's out long ways :D
