.Joel Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 @griffin is working on the ArgoX, they can't decide on their logo. Please vote.... LOGO 1: LOGO 2: LOGO 3: Quote
Catalaussie Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 I would just move RGO a little bit up on logo 3, so would have name included on logo Quote
Chook Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 Are these tattoos or kite logos..................as kite logos, they all look all look like crap. nigel and gum-nuts 2 Quote
Clive Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 Branding is about the recognizability of the name, if the tattoo look is what they normally do then 2-3 could work, but not knowing the brand, then it's 1 at least then you know the name. Quote
jhn.holgate Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) Got an option 4? ....like maybe option 3 with all the 'stuff' taken out of the letters. Edited October 29, 2015 by jhn.holgate Quote
jhn.holgate Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 Move the 'RGO' up a little bit in the A and maybe a gradient color inside? Chook 1 Quote
the_hatman Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 possibly 1 but with the A & X larger by 30 to 50% Quote
SoutherlyBuster Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 All three are way too complicated. Most of the detail will not be recognisable from a distance. ARGO, where on earth did they come up with that name, sorry but reminds me too much of the film ARGO, hopefully I do not need to spell it out what it stood for in the film. Logos need to be simple yet instantly recognisable, the kites are their best advertising bill board and people do not generally look at them close up like a piece of art in an art gallary, but from a distance standing on the shore or from your own kiteboard. So my vote, do not like any one of them. Sorry for being so brutal. Chook and indigo_wolf 2 Quote
jhn.holgate Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 So.....what's the Argo X? I could be wrong, but I assume it's the 10th reiteration of the Argo.....?? Info on the Argo 2015 here: http://www.griffinkites.com.au/kites/argo-2015-kites Darren 1 Quote
Tinkerwith Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 Leave RGO big and shrink the art X and A to each side. The client and your self love it Quote
123matt Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 I'm not a real fan of all 3 either. The style is very reminiscent of what Naish was running on their 2009/2010 kites. Quote
