jhn.holgate Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Ozone Riot 9m- Kite only, no lines. $250 plus postage. Also in excellent condition. It's been replaced as my light wind kite by the 10m Nasa wing. Never really had the 9m out and powered up. Quote
andy666 Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 what colour is the riot? any pics? what kind of low winds have you buggy with it? Quote
jhn.holgate Posted December 7, 2012 Author Report Posted December 7, 2012 I think it's pretty good in 6 knots or so.....maybe a bit less. Have never really spent any decent time with it in the buggy. Does have a bit of lift to it. If you like, I can get some better pics uploaded. Quote

Northern Kites Australia Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 @jhn.holgateWhat's it like for general land kiting and jumping? Quote
Northern Kites Australia Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 I am thinking between this, the Manta II, or the Synergys on sale for jumps. It has to be good for jumps and landings. Any advice appreciated. Quote

I'm afraid I really can't tell you. I've used it in light winds in the buggy a couple times only. Perhaps @lasrocas can tell you a little more? Quote
lasrocas Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Like john ,i have limited experience based on the fact that the wing had too much lift for me. i bought it on a whim without any research. i can tell you it lifted me about 4ft off the ground and glided me a good 30ft in stupidly low wind. i stand 6ft 2 and weigh 98kg (yes thats were all the pies went ) i once sent this kite up whilst sat in the bug (small peter lynn ) and it just lifted me right out of it. If jumping is your thing or land boarding , then in the right hands this kite would be a diamond. used it a few times on the land board (i am rubbish on these things ) and was able to comfortably lean all my weight back against the pull and lift of the kite. the above is from limited use of the wing. the build quality is superb as expected,no bow ties and very fast for its size. hope that helps craig Northern Kites Australia 1 Quote
the_hatman Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 any one wont to give me a rev so I can put john out of his misery. Quote

Still waiting to hear from the guy selling his PL Chargers. If that falls through, I'll let you know. Quote
jhn.holgate Posted December 9, 2016 Author Report Posted December 9, 2016 Still for sale, guys. Could make a w-a-y cheaper (and a bit slower) alternative to a 9m Vapor @Darren Tibbey Will consider trades. Quote
Darren Tibbey Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 Does it use handles or bar? John Quote
jhn.holgate Posted December 9, 2016 Author Report Posted December 9, 2016 It's normally handles (this is kite-only). I have put it on a turbo bar but it felt a bit...weird. If we catch up in the next few weeks, I can bring it with me and you can give it a whirl and see what you think. Quote
Darren Tibbey Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 Sounds good We're on our way to Sandy point now Quote
