Hows it flying kiters, :)

Had a great time at the lake today.Only used the small 2mt Hornet as fingers still

a bit sore. wind spd from 30k to gusts of 45k . I'm no lightweight at 115kg plus buggy

and spares bag. Top speed 34kph average 27.2Ks too the side of the power zone and the

edge Too Chicken :scare2: Had a bloody good time . When moving at

speed and only a 100mm between your ass Tera-firmer. The power of the wind and kite is

AMAZING!! :yahoo:

Trot, Wwwoooooooshhhhh :crazypilot:

The wind looks good for Sunday, I'm planning on being down there from 7-7.30ish. Hope the wind drops a bit as it looks a bit much for my 4m!

It sure is hot standing around out there. I launched Jo's kite, and by the time I got mine out the wind had gone. Jo had a higher average speed than me, and if it weren't for a minute or so of breeze while I had my 8.6m kite out she would have had a higher top speed as well. As for that minute...

I hit 43km/h there, but the kite was behind, so slowed me down before I hit the ground. Most of the speed when I reached the ground was from swinging sideways and I was able to run it out. That is why I like wearing running shoes.

Due to the low wind I was often only holding onto one handle to give me more turning leverage (I have a long strop on that kite). I let go of the bottom handle there to bring the kite up, but due to the speed I was going the kite was a lot more responsive than I expected and I needed the other handle to stop it going too far. I will remember this mistake next time.

Wind doesn't look to good Sunday morning, will go if it improves a bit - but not too much as the Method and Flow have gone and the 6m Access is on its way :dance4: . So all I have to play with at the moment is the 10m Manta!

Trot, I haven't had chance to watch the vid yet but will try this evening!

Hi guys , Good day t the playground 16 / 18 k winds east so got some good runs in in my last

run of the day went from the very top of the lake to the carpark at 35k just about the entire length :crazypilot:.

Brought a new etrex 10, hands down better than the magellan 600 and it was only $70 , So can now keep a track

of kite size, wind speed and max and average speeds. Very pleased with it.

Happy kiting Dudes :good:

Wind looks ok for Sunday morning but not for the new kite :goplay:

You're going to love the 6m access, I've got one and lately it's been my most used kite, not as quick as a FB but far more versatile.

Your right :good: its was gusty this morning and probably a bit close to the bottom end of the wind range but the Access was great - absolutely loved it :dance4: . Just uploading the video now.

Hi gum-nuts, Just wanted to ask about the side rail extensions you had made for your buggy.

Did you get the work done locally or did you go to a speciality shop and second what length were your

extensions.
