    Got to admit I have never worn a helmet whilst snowboarding. Then again I haven't snowboarded for over 4 years. I ALWAYS wear a helmet while kiting no matter what the wind speed is. The last time I went snowboarding I was out on my own. It must have been a sunny day cause I remeber I was quite hot. I took an off piste route down a small valley and must have slammed somehow. The next thing I know I am sitting in the snow thinking whoa my head hurts, and why am I so cold? How long had I been lying in the snow? No Idea Would anyone have found me? Wasn't a well used route so again no idea Would a helmet have prevented the 3 day headache? Almost certainly Yes I now know that I will always wear a helmet whether on or off piste.

    Noticed yesterday that Ski-Sunday has a Kite Snowboarder and a KiteWing in the opening titles. Anyone seen any kite action on this yet?

    Is that area any good for a snowkiting trip?

    I have an Archos AV500. There are options in the System Menu for 'Windows Device' or 'Hard Drive'. I find it easier to use as a Hard Drive so it just shows up as a Drive letter. Otherwise Media Player wants to try and synchronise the device which is just a pain. Hope this helps.

    Well we managed to dam the river. Watched the rain. Played with Mark and Bens cars. Moaned about no wind. Had some lunch. Watched the rain again. Fixed the broken dam. Moaned about it being too wet and no wind. Then rain stopped, the sun came out and the wind picked up to a massive 13mph SW. Then it went dark so we all went home. But a couple of hours of fun was had and got some runs on the banks.

    No it feckin' wasn't :mad::mad: Just like to say a big thanks to the British Gas engineer who didn't bother to turn up or phone to say they couldn't make it. So much for pre-arranged appointments. Still the dining room looks like a beach now I've cleaned all kites and board.

    Any plans set out for Saturday yet? Stupidly early start for the East coast or lazy afternoon in Wales.

    I think its a Sparrowhawk. We have a regular visitor and quite often see a blur and explosion of blue and yellow feathers as Blue Tits get nabbed from our bird table.
