  1. So I've been holding off on getting one of those SJcam's - even if they seem to produce great footage considering the price. But I might just have to get this one: https://sjcamhd.com/sjcam-sj5000x-elite/ By the specs it looks awesome and the price is still very attractive! //M
  2. Now the market could very well be different in AUS, but you might want to consider the resell value/possibilities between the three of them. Here in Denmark the resell value and chances of getting the kite sold is by far higher on both North and Naish gear then it is on Peter Lynn kites (In the kitesurfing scene, the buggy scene is a different story for Peter Lynn). While that being said I know a few guys who simply love the Escape – and having flown Peter Lynn kites for a couple of years I’m quite happy with the quality and haven’t had any trouble with my QR on my chargers :-) //M
  3. Haha well that kinda happens as well :-) As you can see in my video another kiter dropped his right in my lines going up the first hill :-) //M
  4. Haha we for sure don't have it here in Denmark - perhaps 50-60 being a bit optimistic :-) There was 350 spots this year as well - required a bit of concentration to navigate (As you might see in my video) :-D //M
  5. It's time again (soon) to sign up next years Red Bull Ragnarok :-) http://www.redbull.com/no/no/snow/stories/1331760114646/prepare-to-be-blown-away Oh look my Peter Lynn Charger is in the frame :-D My video from this years event: https://vimeo.com/135031204 //M
  6. So I didn't make it to the top ten - but i knew that when I saw the awesome videos the other guys has posted :-) Came in at 18 out of 26 - I'm quite fine with that :-) The Winners and prizes are here: http://www.powerkiter.fr/content/94-landkite-video-contest-results Thanks for the support guyes! //M
  7. Yeah the gopro doesn't really work out as a kite cam - or if it's a kite where the y-split is way up towards the kite :-) //M
  8. Ahh sorry I read your question wonrg (Just tumbled out of bed) :-) Took the easy way and purchased a (Second hand) Line Mount from CamRig: https://camrig.com/line-mount/hd2-gopro-line-mount/gopro-hd1-hd2-line-mount The one for the gopro 1+2 fits the 3 and 3+ if you just shave off a weebit where the bolt goes through. So it's basically just slapped on the center lines :-) I does give nice perspective, but requires a lot of editing to counter the kite movement (Clearly evident in my video as I didn't do anything to rotate it) - and like all ways to mount the gopro it does get dull quickly - it's very nice for still pics though :-) //M
  9. Ja det er specielt lavet kun til det formål, alligevel er det vanvittigt hurtigt :-) //M For everybody else than Joel here's the comment in English: Yup it's special made for just this purpose - nerver the less it's freakingly fast :-) //M
  10. I got one of those cheap "handle bar mounts" from ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Handlebar-Camera-Seatpost-Clamp-Roll-Bar-Mount-Mounting-Adapter-f-GoPro-Hero-2-3-/191144259635?hash=item2c8115f033:g:3AUAAOxyYANTcH09 Then the adjustable section broke (I have attached it to the trucks of my board) so I simply removed it and glued the tripod part directly to the clamp. The rod is an old broomstick :-) //M
  11. Yup I'll take a few next time I have it out :-) //M
  12. Thanks - didn't make it the top ten though :-) I mounted it using a clamp with the tripod mount, this way I have the freedom to turn it upside down like I did in the video :-) //M
  13. Hey! The last video is filmed just a few kms north of where I surf and 10-12 km north of where I landboard :-) //M
  14. Haha yeah you got a point :-) @jhn.holgate On the topic of water on the beach there's roughly 1 meter right now due to strong winds in and around Denmark lately :-) //M
  15. Thanks @WindStruck - I don't think I'll make it to the top ten, but that's not stopping me :-) I haven't been to either Norway or Sweden much (which puts me at a strange spot being a Dane), only twice to Norway to Red Bull Ragnarok and once to Sweden to part take in a Red Bull kitesurf crossing to Denmark and back. But from what I've seen and hear from the kiters in Copenhagen (which is just a bridge and a few kms away from Malmö) is that the Swedish kite scene is more similar to the Danish than to the Norwegian. So it's primarily kitesurfing going on :-) I haven't come across any Swedish buggies or landboarders but they may be there :-) //M
  16. Shameless bump - last chance to show me support :-) //M
  17. Landbased cable park or Water? :-) //M
  18. Epic movie - I gotta try that gliding out next time I'm in norway :-) //M
  19. Ok I have decided to go with the Trampa board. Since I cannot make the carbon on the kitedeck myself it will be (proportionally) too expensive to have it done. (Anybody wanna buy a blank deck btw ) So I'm in the process of cutting my Trampa Holy Pro to fit the revos - it's not an easy task as there is a lot of holes in the board by design, but I have managed to find a suitable compromise but cutting off the tips :-) It will be a fair bit shorter with the wheelbase comming in at 77 cm, but not too much adjustment on the bindings (roughly 4 cm inwards each). Cutting the board and removing the tips have made it super stiff, way more than before, so I have the oppotunity to shred off some extra weight as well by either cutting or drilling (Havn't yet decided, but will be going very slow to get it right). Overall it should in total weight around 6,5 kg - looking forward to giving it a spin and see how it feels :-) //M
  20. Nice - I completely love your skate style tricks Yeah you looked a wee bit dead at one point //M
  21. If you have ever actually seen any riders on a race foil you wouldn't call it slow :-) //M
  22. Yeah that's where I've seen them before - I even had a freeboard once! //M
  23. Yeah it fooled me as well :-) //M
  24. I was lucky to find them on kitecrowd.co.uk - they're discontinued so you need to find them second hand :-) //M
  25. Well I could sell you my used trampa deck (just the deck no bindings, wheels or anything), but shipping might not be appealing :-) //M
