  3. Hi all, selling my Griffin TRX PRO 2013, 14m, kite only. It's been gathering dust so maybe somebody can still use it. It's in good condition. I pumped it today, no leaks. Fabric in good condition, a couple of small patches. It had only little use, I prefer my 10m kite. Price $200 ONO. I'm in Sydney, can post at buyer's expense. Cheers, Marcin

  10. Hi, anybody interested in car sharing? It's me + my 10yo son (undecided) + 1x landboard + 2x fixed bridles + 1x depower + basic camp gear. I'm not over talkative, don't bite or smoke but like beer I'd like to leave my car for wife to use. can go Fri arvo the earliest. I'm planning to camp. Marcin
  11. I tried a couple of different apps: Wind Alert - free - configurable as a widget, shows wind speed and direction Wind Guru - free - similar format like windguru on the web, shows wind speed, clouds info, temperature in many different spots Wind Finder - speed, direction, temperature The Kite and Windsurfing Navigator - paid - pretty advanced kiting spots guide with forecasts - I like this software, am yet about to try the paid maps for NSW, you pay for the region ($3 for NSW), there's a sample info from South Africa. It takes the wind info from Windguru.

  15. Hi all, I'm thinking of joining you in Stockton, I ride a landboard, would anyone have a spare buggy to try out? Is anybody planning to camp in the dunes, I'd be keen on that? Cheers, Marcin
  16. Hi, that sounds fine, provided two things: 1) I can have a day off, will find out tomorrow... 2) somebody could give me a lift + 1x landboard + 1x kite (can share fuel costs) Cheers, Marcin
  17. I find the Cult to be very stable in general, I think what I was doing wrong I was keeping the kite in zenith too long, instead of flying it more in power zone. Before I got on the board the kite was falling down, often looping, then untangle/start, the same again. I wonder if a slightly smaller kite would help - could fly it more aggressive not being too overpowered in gusts and that way avoid sneaky lulls. Marcin
  18. Thanks for the tips, will try it hard next time JDHOT: Sounds like a good plan if the weather's good. can't declare 100% due to family commitments but will stay in touch. Riverwood is the good option for me in general, not far from where I live, it's just bloody gusty, that was my third or fourth attempt there to no success. I know you guys ride there so the depowers help you to handle gusts/lulls? Marcin
  19. I fly Ozone Cult 4.5 Marcin
  20. Hi, I tried to landboard in Riverwood today, wind was very gusty. I have a fixed bridle kite. The gusts were not too bad but the lulls made the kite suddenly folding and falling. I was not able to landboard because of the kite often falling down. Can you recommend any technique or maybe a different kite to handle this? Cheers, Marcin
  21. Hi, what's it like with kiting in Stockton at the moment, do you need any permission or such? Cheers, Marcin
  22. Hi Norman, good to see your comments about short lines, what would be the advantage anyway - lower the kite, less wind? I'm buying a 5m2 inflato to teach my son. When told him about possibility of using 8m2 NEO he said: "dad, from 1.5m2 (imp) to 8m2, are you nuts?? ;)" Does you Peter Lynn depower much to be safe enough for your son? Cheers, Marcin
