  1. Great vid. Well done guys looking good :-)
  2. Yes, Used to be able to get upgrade from surface tension
  3. I have a 56 Transit and love it, drives better than my scenic did has two passenger seats for family, good stereo, all mod cons, have put a split level in the back so all kit goes underneath and I can sleep on top.
  4. Allow the kite to pull you from the harness and use the bar to steer. Sounds obvious but when I changed from FB to Accesses I was trying to fight the pull through the bar. Pull in the bar a little as you turn to speed it up. Stake out with the break handle behind the bar. Make sure your safety works (top hat, chicken loop or 5th line with leash). When the kite is at the zenith pull the bar right in to stop it overflying, let out again as it comes forward. Enjoy, Accesses are great buggy engines :-)
  5. If you want blood. One of the best live albums.
  6. What Mick said, although I think its 11m not 12m. What sort of winds do you fly in coast or inland? I'd probably look for a 9m first and take it out in light winds to get the feel of it.
  7. Ozone access would be a great starter depower and lifty in the right winds. Ozone frenzy has lots of lift and float. what do you want to do ultimately? Access tend to be good in a buggy as pull like a train laterally where as frenzy better for board as they help keep you more upright. Or you could go blow up.
  8. They were better with Paul D'anno (sp). Punkier edge. Bruce is a little too polished and they should have put Eddie to bed after killers. They can play though :-)
  9. @ Andy, Cheers. I'm really looking forward to it. I'll let you know. @ Stu. Still foils and buggy, but have fancied a go on water for ages, now time to get out there.
  10. Nice vids. Got my first lesson next week any tips? :-)
  11. Are you going to go all flysurfer on us Phil?
  12. Hi, do you have any pics please?
  13. Hi Jim, ABW no longer exists. The flying site is now run by MASC (Midland airsports club). We have 52 acres of grass intersected by runway on Hoton airfield. We have a club house with kettle, microwave etc and a toilet. We are open Saturdays and Sundays and there are usually folks up there with kit you can try but we do not have any instructors. although we're a friendly bunch and happy to let folks have a go we're not insured to instruct. Probably not geared up to deal something like a stag do though. All our comunications tend to be through the club's FB page so it may be worth asking on there, others may have a different view to me. Hope this helps. Ben
  14. Hi all, thinking of paying a first visit to Hoylake on Saturday 16th June (according to Nicks figures it's dry then), where is the best place to access the beach? And, who would I have to see to pay for day flying? Any other tips and advice welcome. Cheers, Ben
  15. Don't think so, used to be one in Bristol (can't remember what it was called) Not sure it's still there and not very close anyway.
  16. Pendower and Carne ( become one beach at low tide), are buggiable on a southerly but only for a couple of hours either side of low tide. Not far from St. Mawes though (20mins). Otherwise you're best on the north coast. Gwithian is massive and works in anything with a north in it as I remember. There's also a beach just East of Padstow (Harlyn bay), again only at low water. Hope this helps (I lived in St. Mawes for a couple of years. Nice place :-)
  17. Thought I carried off wearing frenzy pretty well, do you have one in blue? ;-)
