Used them no problems with being secure.
Only problem is they are directly onto the roof of the car, if you get any sand on them they tend to scratch the paintwork.
They are only suitable for 4 door cars, it is not possible to get enough spacing on a 2 door.

An alternative to the pillow slip is the bag that comes with machine washable suits from places like Matalan. A lot larger, and made out of mesh that lets sand etc escape.
Washed a white 5M Pansh Ace like this after after a muddy day on Cleeve

Went up today on the off chance of some wind.
Had a not very good session, then when I got home I found I had dropped my GPS while I was out.
I know its a slim chance but if anyone finds a Garmin Etrex Legend on the common it would be great to get it back.
Thanks
Alan
If you want to combine live blues with some kiting try the Upton Blues festival in July. Its about 3 miles from EKS.
Kiting in the day, free live music and drinks in the evening. (or music and drinks all day if there's no wind)

Exit at junction 10 is only possible travelling south, and its a long way up to J9 and back.
If travelling south on M5 I think the best way is exit at J9 and go via Bishops Cleeve. Remember the only way up is Harp Hill/Aggs Hill, so don't head towards the pylons when you see them just south of bishops Cleeve
I thought it must have failed yesterday, so went up anyway thinking if there was no wind I could get my excercise by walking. There was no wind and thick fog with about 20M visibility.
Great to be out again, 8 weeks is a long time. I'm aching all over after quite a short session.
I think I need some anesthetic tonight (liquid variety)

Bought a McCulloch mulching mower a few years ago, best mower I've ever had. The cuttings just disappear, unless I let the grass get too long. Has the option to fit a grass collection bag, so if you want the extra work you can collect the cuttings.
EKS at Kempsey is always good,
