eXtremeKiteShop thread #1 Hello and welcome to EKS kite club (eXtremeKiteShop), we are a group of friendly kiters of all ages. We spend most of our flying time on one of the biggest and best inland flying field's in the U.K. We are based in Kempsey, Worcester (WR5 3PA) We fly on a turf farm so as you can imagine the quality of grass is just out of this world. Also space is no longer an issue here, with over 300 acres of the smoothest turf you will not get bored. You have a gentle hill for those wanting to get big airs and a huge flat field for those speed runs. Most of the time we get clean strong winds from all directions. As this is our new location we now…

Spending a couple of weeks with the girl, but hoping to get a few hours flying in. Been pretty slack this season. Anyone want to meet up. Don't fly big stuff, but packing a small foil and Martin's legs for the hell of it! I'll be in the Woodside area, limited to bus, or lifts! lol Is there any static flying areas around there. Wondering if Telford Town Park has suitable spaces?

Hi all, I'm from the east coast where Fraisthorpe is my local beach for land boarding. It's very weather dependant for usability, like many other places, so i'd like to put a list together of all beaches and open grassland areas where kiting is permitted in the north of england and midlands. Is there a list of spots already out there? If not, can you tell me the places you know and any useful information like where to park and fees (if any), if membership is needed, or anything else of use. If there's not one out there i may try and find time to build a website or just use google maps to list them with some info for each one. Thanks Chris

Hi all, new to here, but just moved from Manchester to Lichfield (...and now depressingly far from the nearest coast!!). Been fairly regular on the wirral, ainsdale, Lytham and north Wales spots over last year and half or so and they're still the closest. just wondering if anyone on here's doing the same journey on windy days and was up for a lift share?? Cheers Dave
