If you got nowt to do around midday today, then you could do worse than listen to a radio4 prog. (noon-12:30) called Genius. It's hosted by comedian, Dave Gorman. He gets people to send in their ideas for inventions, plans, even government policies that are totally impracticle, unworkable or just plain daft, but contained within these suggestions is just a hint of genius. Here's a few examples of ideas from previous shows. Steel drum urinals in the gents - for musical trips to the loo. Connecting equipment in gyms to the nation grid. Packed up the car and headed off to Kirra beach to meet Baggsy. Ledonna and the 2 kiddies and I are all $on board .... off we go We have a 1 hour drive ahead and 10 mins into it it's raining !!!! Baggsy didnt mention rain !!! So we call a friend in Bundy and ask her to check the radar ... 'dont worry about it .. it's patchy she says' ........... ok .... 45 mins driving and its still raining !!!! Its not until we are nearly there that the sky begins to clear ... and then go blue Bugger all wind .... from about 0 - 5 .. so we swim in a nice clear spot away fom the masses ... and the wind gets CRANKIN :eek: ... must have peaked to about 7!!!! so the kites are ripped…

im new to this,, but this is the divine number,....... it is the building block of nature,, if anyone knows about this i`d like to get a good discussion going,,, it`ll wee all over the religion one. Im too tired to start it tonight but tomoz afternoon the religion versus Pagan (which isnt a devil worship sect as the catholic church will have you believe) will start..... Seeing as we seem to have lost the last thread that was started on Multi-rotors, I thought I would start a new thread for those of us that are inclined to build and fly them. Here are the 2 I have been playing with since I got home from hospital, had a few sleepless nights and a pile of parts that had arrived while I was away so I have been doing a bit of building. Blue Sky RC Mini Quad Had this kit for a while, initially I built it with the KK v3.0 board, but i was having a few issues with a hardware conflict. So it sat for a while and has now been upgraded to the KK2 board which is much easier to configure and tune. Still trying to work the bugs …

If you have seen these candles they are amazing, I can't understand how they work. There seems to be a bit of fiber optic cable running the side of the wick but that doesn't translate to how it changes coulour from a single non changing light source. There is no battery or power of any sort I'm aware of. I dot get it, nobody at work does and a few others just don't get it, there's nothing really on the net that I found that is a definitive answer.... Just that it's god. I'll post a vid I took to show if you haven't seen them. Amazing though, £3 at supermarkets at the moment too...

Could anybody help stop the abuse I will get by suggesting how to get rid of or hide scratches on a kitchen worktop? I have tried polish and wax, in fact most of the car products around, I have tried a crayon the same colour. It's not deep but stands out with the light through the window. Any suggestions guys?
