  1. Got a link to the shop?
  2. Take a look at the Peter Lynn spreader bars....they have 2 types, either one will solve your problem!
  3. I heard that they are going to sew up the Sabre and turn it into an inflatable!
  4. And then I wonder WHY they allow all the riders on the PKRA to ride WITHOUT helmets. Don't you guys think it would be a good example if all competitions made it compulsory to wear helmets. Then us other mortals can see our great idols kiting WITH a helmet. I think that will send a powerful signal. Anyway, with the tricks the pro's do I think they are stupid to not wear a helmet. Just my 2c
  5. I would definitely recommend Underground boards! I'm about 85kg and I love my FLX32 (132x39) I used to have a huge 164 Fanatic board when I started out, but you really outgrow them fast. I thought it would always be handy for light wind, but for some reason I just don't like the big boards, it just feels akward. Besides, Underground boards is amazing in choppy conditions, you will love them!
  6. A work mate of mine got a webhosting business on the side. Don't know if its a problem for you being located in Finland, but at least I can vouch for the guy, you won't be ripped-off. Go check out his site: http://www.malugroup.biz/en/
  7. Has anyone used sex wax (surfboard wax)? I surf as well and have lots of this hanging around. Since it's made to stick in water I was wondering if this will be any good.
  8. Where I kite it's also chop and mush all the way. I'm about the same weight as you and I can seriously recommend the underground boards. I use the FLX 132, great flex for these conditions!
  9. Yes, You only need their international bank account number (IBAN). They should get this from their bank, and then you just pay it like a normal account.
  10. My personal experience is also that Flag beach is for intermediate->advance riders, not just because of all the rocks but also because of the "helpful" flagbeach people. When I was there a guy dropped his kite in the water(looking out to sea, on the left hand side going around the corner into the harbour). Anyway, I was sitting on the beach with these guys, they saw the guy struggling and not getting his kite up. There's a lot of real nasty rocks on that side, if you get taken there, that's it, you and your kite are going to get some serious damage. Eventually the lifeguards(from a different beach) came driving up on their quadbike to inform these guys that there's a guy in trouble. FB response was.....we aren't life guards and that guy didn't pay for rescue. Fair enough, they didn't wanted to just rush out and pick up the guy and charge him a fortune for rescue, but he was drifting/struggling a long time, heading straight for the rocks, and they knew there is this point of no return where you won't even be able to get to the guy in the boat and then he is straight onto the rocks. He eventually had his kite damaged on the rocks as he swam out. I was a bit ****** with the FB guys....and made damn sure I didn't get in trouble for the rest of the time, even though I did pay for rescue services. If you don't already know what you are doing....then don't go there.
  11. Or maybe you guys should also consider looking OUTSIDE the UK for good prices. I'm sory to have to pimp my own site, but if it is Sabres you want....we are running a special now.....in case you guys are interested. Postage can be negotiated...... http://www.hotliquid.fi
  12. Yes.....buy a new one
  13. To the Flexifoil Administrator. Thanks for the nice message in the forums page telling us to update our bookmarks in order to reflect the new domain change. NOW....it would also be very helpful if you could update YOUR links on the front Flexifoil page (community->forums) to reflect this domain change as well! Kind Regards A non-bookmarked kiter
  14. Ok, I have been in Feurte only once and in the northern part of the island, town/village is called Corralejo. This is where the famous Flagbeach is (google for flagbeach). To be honest, I found Feurte dry and boring (nature wise). I stayed in the surf hostel (cheap and good facilities) because I was by myself. But if you maybe stay in one of those holiday villages there might be some activities for the kids/family. I had a rental car for 1 day and went round the island.....like I said, sand , sand and more sand and not a lot to see/do. Personally I wouldn't recommend it for a family(not my family anyway), but for kiting definitely! If it's just the wife and she is happy just sun tanning and chilling out, then you could consider it. There is quite a bit of night life, so evenings won't be boring.
  15. Huh?...What?
