its because the server thinks its a directory and not a filetype ... was working last night...

try this then

http://www.aospkc.co.uk/cgi-bin/aospkcwind.gadget

or if that fails

http://www.aospkc.co.uk/aospkcwindgadget.zip

extract the zip then double click the .gadget file

404 error Tom!

Really good idea

thanks for having faith in me as usual.... my excuse is that your server can't distinguish a filetype from a folder

nice gadget tom..... suggestion for upgrade.......

'get me out of work and down to the beach' button :D

seriuosly.... if you could get high and low tide times displayed also, that would be cool.

Cool Ainsdale day :) - cut short after I bottled out of a 720 and landed real heavy on my ass bone - hobbled back and ended up sitting on an ice pack for the rest of the afternoon.

Goons were massive, never seen them so big, just gotta remember to get out in deep water when I'm trying hard :o.

Recommendation; - saw Russel Howard (the westcountry dude on Mock the Week) tonight at The Lowry, real good comic, gets 5 stars, couldn't sit still though, kept squirmin' about, this bum bruise is real painful :o.

If you're a Mock the Week fan, Dara O'Briain is on in April, but get in fast cos there's not a lot left.

I'd like to send a big thank you to the kitesurfer who managed to catch my madly looping Rage and then got it secured on the ground. I had somehow managed to get one of the leader lines wrapped around my ankle while setting up (don't ask me how!). Of course at that moment the kite decides to take off, both handles behind a stake which gets pulled out immediately and me in a rather precarious situation not being able to get any control, and this leader line digging deeper and deeper into my ankle.

Took me an hour after that to unravel the lines, and then forced myself to have a little fly to rebuild some confidence. Still, will wait for some less wind before going out again (xcweather had predicted 18, history afterwards showed 28!).

Thanks again mate, you got me out of a potentially very dangerous situation!

Koen.

9s at the ready, together with a simon sensible helmet.

Had a week full of injuries so gotta take the next few sessions easy peasy.

Would recommend dudes, gloves and some sort of hood, I was toastie in 1.5mm gloves and a 3mm hood on Tuesday. It's 'orrible being frostie.

Tides high around 11 so hopefully getting down for gates at goonworld about 12 :).

Had a nice little sesh this morning till the rain and gales piled in. Bit gusty in places but otherwise good. Tide seemed to be moving out FAST though. Only got a handful of runs on the goons and they were outtahere.

Bobby you're right about hood n gloves time. Got mine last week and I've got to say it's the investment of the year. 7 degrees this morning . Bit nippy. Didn't feel a thing.:D :D :D

Dry at the moment - light grey overcast with a few blue bits.

Looks like a dry but cloudy day - maybe a light shower, but clouds don't look dark enough to leak at the mo.

Windy :).

edit: 11:00 (High Tide) update - still dry, brighter, more bits of blue.

Even windier - be careful dudes, lookin' asda bag strength out there.

On with the rubber :).

Might get there Sunday - looks more a Northerlie and the wind looks best early on so might get there not long after the Weetabix.

Recommendation; Any dudes wanting something dry to do tomorrow maybe get down to the Free Thinking discussions down at the Fact in Liverpool - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/freethinking/2007/ - saw Phil Redmond yesterday discussing personal identity and the State - all good lefties should be there.

Down there again tomorrow - space and why were here being debated and loads of other good 'put the world to rights' stuff - and they've a real cool bar.
