I think I have alcohol poisoning.. peaked a little early what with the footy win n that yesteday. Hope you enjoyed Frais, that wind looked a little gnarly... Go big Lightweight!!! Glad we have some new 6-0 fodder in the Premiership now The wind was nasty today, had the worst day of kiting since records began. Lovely day out though. Cheers to those who were there and those who saved my bacon Lol, glad to see it looks like y'all enjoyed yourself, despite the gnarly wind. Where's all the other kiters on those pics? Thought the beach would have been heaving Sunday.. I know a few of my kitesurfer mates were out, saw them at Clee yesterday. Matt - when you coming onto the wet stuff? You and Sylenz must be the only 2 die-hard old skool buggiers on the planet! Oh, and am expecting a right old spanking in the Premiership, but the last few weeks have been simply incredible in Hull. We never had it so good Will try better next time to be not-lightweight

big-jon Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Due to the great way in which I work, I have got another week off this week so I am hoping the forecasted westerly winds of Tuesday and Thursday actually turn up and I can get to the beach for the first time in months!! Hey yea lets blame Carl, better than blaming global warming for everything!!! If these easterlies continue then I may even join Hoylake just so I can get on a beach without a major drive to the other coast!

carltb Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 my foot is on the mend and i did abit of buggying on saturday so i reckon the wind will start to pick back up now. it should be proportional to the amount of pain im still in, so in a couple of weeks it will be blowing a hooly bang on shore!!!
