  1. Thankyou, I think I will try a 10m offroad. I tried a small offroad, about 3-4M last weekend, (my friend had borrowed it from a shop). I was well impressed with it, the build quality was really good, much more thought gone into it, the briddle system was way better than the frenzy, we flew it next to my 4.5LD and it had as much, if not more power. The bar was real good too. Thanks for the advice, I will check both the offroad and diablo out next time I am back near the shop.......I am also trying out a gurilla the same day Wahhheyyyyyyyyyyyyy:D
  2. Is the Rhea really discontinued??? Do you mean just by the shop or have they stopped making them?? It doesn't say anything on their website??? Which one would be a good alternative to 9.5 Frenzy???
  3. Yeah mine have just gone too Kheos bushes are well cheap and nasty, booooooooooo. Do the doh dohs come with the other bit, not shown in the above photo, you know the bit I mean, the one that the pivot thingy goes in??????? OK so I am not at my most descriptive today!!!!
  4. It should be windy on Sunday......... so I am going to fraisthorpe, there will be a few frenzys on the beach there, just head north up the beach as geoffery says (sorry drunkmonkey)
  5. Dont worry about trees, just steer round them!!!! If you got a car your sorted!!!!! Ive been to scarborough a couple of times and found some really good hills - one was out the back of an estate and the other was a reaaly sick hill as we were leaving - couldn't tell you exactly where..... I just drive around till I find a hill, walk to the top, and fling myself off............
  6. Top advice..... Box hill, havent been there for years, that must be a wicked place for downhillin!!!! I must get down there next time im in the area, does it still fill up with mad bikers at the weekends??
  7. Typical of ATB injury, could to practice crashing at low speeds, always got to get some expert tuition before having a go!!!!! Nasty accidents happen when one foot comes out and one doesn't, ankles knees - ooooooooowwwww good to practice power sliding and dropping off the back, if you are going that fast you should be tucked right down already, so if you come off you should slide the board round 90 degrees and gently slide along the floor coming to a serene and peacefull stop - yeah right!!!! You were on tarmac aswell you nutter!!! I like downhill but dont fancy tarmac!!!!!! Get well soon and dont let it put you off!!!!!1
  8. The lower you get on your board the more stable it will be as you are lowering your centre of gravity - thats physics. Dont know about locking your kness together, you will hurt your knees and look like you have shat yourself Tightening trucks / stiffer trucks will also help stability but you are trading off responsiveness of your board - which effects you when you want to carve hard upwind to launch for jump. Also over looked is the fact that you might be a bit stiff, relax and you will ride smoother, that will come with experience - speed is your friend, you should be able to get up to 20-30mph with out too much trouble :)
  9. 9" are good thats what I use, I have had a go on boards with massive tyres on but my feet tend to catch the tyres If sand is real soft theres not much you can do.....
  10. apply pressure to your leading hand whilst travelling through the air, it will soften your landing and ensure the kite is in a good position whem you land
  11. Cheers, Ill check them out.......
  12. Anybody know where there are any good vids on the net. I've seen the ones at kitepower.com.au Are there any more????
  13. mmmmmmmmmmm.......steak ......I Like Mustard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Kickers, I like the red ones, the seude is so soft......... ............I'm going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I was watching someone on a scrub last weekend, he was doing pretty big jumps but the board was bottoming out quite severely
  16. I saw it in action on suday, pretty impressive, well worth checking out
  17. Hey Forecast is looking good for this weekend too, if the rain holds off.........................yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  18. I've got big wheels on my board but it still sinks down in dry sand, just think thats the way it is, gotta use wet hard sand.

    Speed Wobble

Harder shocks and stiffer springs will help with the wobbles but you will loose responsiveness in turning, Crouching lower on the board will lower your centre of gravity and stabilize the board more Alternatively chuck the kite back the other way and turn your speed into hieght??????????
  20. Whats it supposed to be like??

    Best Atb!!??

    That does cheers joe
  22. What the hell is NOOB and what is ALLERT???????
  23. Id say the kite was your problem, not flown one myself, but if you want air id reccomend something that will give you lift, like a little devil, blade or even a frenzy...... basically the theory is as you are going along full power get the kite low and slightly infront of you then chuck hard back the opposite way your going............ oh and hang on! this is a basic discription but youll get the hang soon enough!

    Best Atb!!??

Hey Joe, I like the look of the BHI deck, thinking maybe with the MBS trucks, what do you think? What are the BHI trucks like?? Basically I am looking for the lightest set up with channel trucks and lots of pop, good strength....do you have a new MBS board, are they out yet? and can you get the trucks seperately?
  25. If you are wanting to catch some air, go for the uniboard the are much more giving on a heavy landing and should be much lighter A uniboard will turn sharper and be more responsive basically the used to make the frame style boards before anybody came up with the good idea of the uni boards
