  1. Thankyou, I think I will try a 10m offroad. I tried a small offroad, about 3-4M last weekend, (my friend had borrowed it from a shop). I was well impressed with it, the build quality was really good, much more thought gone into it, the briddle system was way better than the frenzy, we flew it next to my 4.5LD and it had as much, if not more power. The bar was real good too. Thanks for the advice, I will check both the offroad and diablo out next time I am back near the shop.......I am also trying out a gurilla the same day Wahhheyyyyyyyyyyyyy:D
  2. Is the Rhea really discontinued??? Do you mean just by the shop or have they stopped making them?? It doesn't say anything on their website??? Which one would be a good alternative to 9.5 Frenzy???
  3. Yeah mine have just gone too Kheos bushes are well cheap and nasty, booooooooooo. Do the doh dohs come with the other bit, not shown in the above photo, you know the bit I mean, the one that the pivot thingy goes in??????? OK so I am not at my most descriptive today!!!!
  4. It should be windy on Sunday......... so I am going to fraisthorpe, there will be a few frenzys on the beach there, just head north up the beach as geoffery says (sorry drunkmonkey)
  5. Dont worry about trees, just steer round them!!!! If you got a car your sorted!!!!! Ive been to scarborough a couple of times and found some really good hills - one was out the back of an estate and the other was a reaaly sick hill as we were leaving - couldn't tell you exactly where..... I just drive around till I find a hill, walk to the top, and fling myself off............
  6. Top advice..... Box hill, havent been there for years, that must be a wicked place for downhillin!!!! I must get down there next time im in the area, does it still fill up with mad bikers at the weekends??
  7. Typical of ATB injury, could to practice crashing at low speeds, always got to get some expert tuition before having a go!!!!! Nasty accidents happen when one foot comes out and one doesn't, ankles knees - ooooooooowwwww good to practice power sliding and dropping off the back, if you are going that fast you should be tucked right down already, so if you come off you should slide the board round 90 degrees and gently slide along the floor coming to a serene and peacefull stop - yeah right!!!! You were on tarmac aswell you nutter!!! I like downhill but dont fancy tarmac!!!!!! Get well soon and dont let it put you off!!!!!1
  8. The lower you get on your board the more stable it will be as you are lowering your centre of gravity - thats physics. Dont know about locking your kness together, you will hurt your knees and look like you have shat yourself Tightening trucks / stiffer trucks will also help stability but you are trading off responsiveness of your board - which effects you when you want to carve hard upwind to launch for jump. Also over looked is the fact that you might be a bit stiff, relax and you will ride smoother, that will come with experience - speed is your friend, you should be able to get up to 20-30mph with out too much trouble :)
  9. 9" are good thats what I use, I have had a go on boards with massive tyres on but my feet tend to catch the tyres If sand is real soft theres not much you can do.....
  10. apply pressure to your leading hand whilst travelling through the air, it will soften your landing and ensure the kite is in a good position whem you land
  11. Cheers, Ill check them out.......
  12. Anybody know where there are any good vids on the net. I've seen the ones at kitepower.com.au Are there any more????
  13. mmmmmmmmmmm.......steak ......I Like Mustard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Kickers, I like the red ones, the seude is so soft......... ............I'm going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I was watching someone on a scrub last weekend, he was doing pretty big jumps but the board was bottoming out quite severely
