Amazing, this forum is still going and the first thread i've come across is one about old members :)I joined in 2002 and my last post was in 2006 and although I didn't post very much I used to check in everyday. I believe I was the first person to make a copy of popeyethewelder's very first Fandango buggy - seems a very very long time ago and sadly the buggy is no more Gave up kiting around 2006 due to having a young child and no free time (a couple of really really bad summers added to it aswell). The previously young child is now almost 11 and just so happens is getting a kite (aswell as other stuff) for Christmas so I thought i'd see if the flexi forums were still up and running and to my amazement they are (sort of) I now feel really really really old.

I got hold of a paraglider a few years ago to see if it would work as a kite and they don't. They're far too slow through the air and are almost impossible to turn as you just run out of sky. Several of us tried flying it and it was a very very light wind day and it managed to rag us all over the place, could have been quite deadly if even a small gust came along. I sold then thing not long after and bought a 9m Blade with the profit

mt thoughts eggzacully Joined in 2002 and still got less than 100 posts Did used to have a lot more but they all got wiped out during some forum upgrade / balls up some time ago. Still a regular reader though. One thing that has always annoyed me though is why the so called noobs feel the need to use text speak all the time. There are a full 26 letters in front of you so why not make use of them

Well ,what a week. Started a website out of boredom a bit ago and it's not really done much until apparantly someone from cosmopolitan saw it and decided to put something about it in this months magazine and now it all seems to be going a bit mad. I've been in The Sun yesterday, a article has appeared on the daily mail website today, someone has seen something in some girly mag called cosmo and i've been contacted by ther Daily express who want an interview. I did an interview with the BBC on tuesday thats going out on the radio, I was also on BBC asian network on tuesday dinnertime, been on some radio station in belfast earlier today and have now just had an email from TalkSport who want me to go on there tomorrow night. How long before I make the TV d'ya think Oh, the site is http://www.revengeguy.co.uk if anyone cares.

Libre specials are powdercoated not painted and they do scuff quite easily, if you wanted it re powdercoating they'd have to take the old stuff off first before they could do it. Just look in the yellow pages under powdercoaters and phone around for a pricre as they can vary quite considerably. Failing that go down to B&Q and buy a tin of balck paint and do it yourself

Not got suspension on a flexi buggy but i did build a copy of popeyethewelders fandango buggy and that has suspension on the back. After having a few decent runs i decided to ditch the suspension and have now made a normal straight axle. IMO suspension on kite buggies is overkill, you don't really need it and i always found it never made that much difference to the ride anyway as you're only ever going over realatively flat sand or grass. Anyway, i don't think you can buy readymade suspension for the flexibuggy so if you wanted it i guess you'd have to make your own.

Best thing to do would be to pass their details onto various animal rights organistaions, A.L.F etc etc. I'm sure the nasty little ba**ards would then soon be getting a little too familiar to the business end of a lump hammer / baseball bat / piece of wood/ insert weapon of choice here. To be honest i'd be surprised if the animal rights lot didn't already know who they are and weren't already sharpening their knives. There was a guy in Huddersfield last november who put a firework in the mouth of a dead yorkshire terrier before dumping what was left in a bin for the owners to find a day or so later, he didn't actually kill the dog, it had already been run over and killed but nonetheless it caused such an outrage that the 19 year old dip**** that did it has been a pariah ever since, infact i'm sure i read that his parents were forced to move house because of all the abuse and threats they were getting.

I wnet to school witha guy who was called Robert Roberts. It was originally Robert Brownson but his mother remarried and they all took on her new husbands name. Needless to say robert got ripped to pieces when the school found out

I bought my 10.5 when they first came out and at that time i used to have a board, i'd had a 9mB2 before that and the 10.5 turns much quicker than the 9m ever did but it still turns like a bus with flat tyres. The 10.5 was ok on a board but not great. I only have a buggy now and as such the 10.5 only comes out if i'm pratting around jumping. I've also never considered the big blades low wind kites, they're way too heavy and slow to be any type of fun in low winds.

as someone who used to fly a lot of RC planes and helicopters years ago both of those are very impressvie, although the plane looks much cooler i reckon the heli would have taken more skill to fly. Brings back memories of the time one of the older guys i used to fly with "lost" one of his planes, we nevre did find out where the bloody thing came down

The flexi buggy was never originally designed with jumping in mind, if it had have been they'd have used something more substantial than 15mm bolts to hold the wheels on. High tensile or not you will always bend or break them eventually if you have too many heavy landings.

http://www.wheelbarrowfreestyle.com/ Well it's certainly different!

I'd agree with the contortionists and midgets, still looked bloody impressive though

I belive the ones i saw at wallop were zagi's, i have one although it's only for use on the slope. Theyr'e not too hard to fly but quite twitchy. They're also not that cheap to get going with if you don't already have the radio gear etc. As for the el cheapo electric all in job lot things, i wouldn't bother. You can't really fly them if there is any kind of breeze and they're usually only 2 channels which means up down left and right, they get a bit dull after about 10 minutes.
