  10. I was referring to the convenience of the short leash. You are probably talking about the slider hook, Jay recommend to check the dyneema cord regularly; otherwise one can use a panoply of steel parts like the fixed U hook to which the loop is directly connected or the regular fixed hook or even the steel sliding hook as shown here . I heard that earlier models had some flaws, not any more, metal is forged, not welded and the quality is second to none, the price very reasonable. By the way I am not part of this company, just an average happy user!
  11. Looks like the school hang glider I started on back in '76... great delight for first hop and pop... the hop was exhilarating, however the pop got quite painful with a dislocated elbow... Ouch!
  12. Totally agree, the keep it simple way is pleasant and safer as well more economical; as far as I am concerned the Flysurfer Infinity 3.00 would be a good example of the KIS principle!
