If i was you i would go to schools in bodrum and find out if they have a gear they wanna get rid off in good conditions. I respect the guys above they have a good gear for a beginner too.

Hi guys I try to plan a family trip to Wales during the October school holiday and looking for spots I can do kitesurfing also entertainment for the wife and son. Im renting friends motorhome so I can visit few places. Im planning 3 days and hoping three different spot from top of the wales to bottom. Im a beginner by the way. Thanks in advance

I am not expert but logically if you keep leash long it will be hit you harder as it ll be travel further and keep leash short ll be less travelling so even hits you won't hurt. At least you get confident until using your board without leash you can try.

I have to say while ur wetsuit new it ll be hard but once get bit worn out would be get easier. In mean time ask someone to pull ur shoulder down.

Yeah man thumps up for u Bobby. It was awesome session loved it except I run after the kite all the way beach:) all good thou at least i know i can run fast:)I ll get a new leash and make sure my safety wont release the kite unless I want it to. Looking forward to next session. Thanks for today.

I'm here..:-) I think Mick is right more people start posts more people ll talk. Back in your time probably people didn't know much about kitesurfing or landboarding so they were using this forum or whatever its use to be called now a days everyone use internet if you search in YouTube there are lots of videos anything you need even how to repair your kite or board even more how to kiss;-)

I have a cabrinha custom board and I use mystic straps with it they are really confy and cheap also there is nothing can be broken. I think sometimes simplicity is best.

You need a good depower kite so if you have another face down you can recover quickly or when u feel gust. I start on the land like you and this is my first summer on the water. I got myself a Cabrinha Crossbow which really good depower on it. I find really usefull newb like. I hope it helps.

Make sure you take your equipment mate. i never been there myself but i just seen few picture from internet. The here is a water sport and sailing on the beach so wind must be good for them to use katamarans. ( i love katamarans so much fun by the way) İf you bored i have a friend at Akyaka i give his details so you can get in touch. Enjoy your holiday. cheers

Sorry given you a bad news but beachs there really busy at this time of the year. Your best bet is get a car and drive to Akayaka. Akyaka is the best beach you use for the kitesurf. You can always push your luck and kite where you stay however beach user on the beach boats on the shore always ll be problem.
