Come and compete
Seriously do...
Last year i could only manage 2 tricks and could only jump with the kite on one side of me. The comp pushed me to jump with the kite either side (during the comp, Hank shouted 'Send it!!!' and so i did).
With the weather being pretty bad last year i didn't get out as much as i'd liked to have done so this year i went in with about 5 tricks. But on the freefly day i learned a few more, not perfected but they are there.
To me its not about placing 1st or last (i do like last though) its about meeting up with the best and getting advice and really pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. I'm still very much the noob of the bunch who fly in the buggy comp but i'd recommend anyone who likes freestyle to come take part
