  1. Hi Guys, As I said, hereby the results of 8h of Les Hemmes 1 Buggy Legend, laps = 37 Kite :Ozone Chrono 2 Ozone 69, laps = 37 Kite : Ozone Chrono 3 MT water Solo, laps = 35 Kite : Vapor I depower 4 Muschy Peas, laps = 34 Kite : Vapor I, Vapor 2, Pl depower 5 MAC 3, laps = 33, kite : Quantum / Vapor Course : about 3 km's.
  2. Hi Joel, I follow Marks statement, that the best handle pilots are not able to beat the guys on depower. Results say this. Only 1 handle kites rider will ever be able to beat the depowers with FB kites. Shame that guy is not racing anymore. Don't forget that Ozone created the Quantum FB kite. European Champ 2013, and Vice Champ 2013 + severall national titles with that kite. Only 1 year later Ozone stopped the Quantum production and the teamriders switched to the Chrono and won even more... Just saying they had a winner kite again. Oh and guys, don't forget to look at the results from the 8 hours of Les Hemmes held on the end of may this year. Top 3 : depower kites. The vapor 1 with depower bridle was on 3rd place far ahead of the vapor 2.... (will post the results later today). But maybe this again was a course with to many turning for the FB kites? This international event showed which way we have to go. More stable kites, safer kites (les OBE's) and, faster kites! And saying people have less fun when they fly depower is sh*t. If someone says that, he should never fly again a depower kite.
  3. Fixed bridle kites are good for, euh well, they had their time. The vapor 2 is fast, but not fast enough. If u want to step a level higher, then u should take a depower race-foil. That will only give u a steeper learning curve and more fun. Oh, and for those who wonder, yes the Ozone R1 is more stable then the Chrono, and faster But I would love to see some more competition from other brands in buggy-racing!
  4. How many meter lines are those? 20 or 25m? I advise to fly them on 15m lines. That's the length we are always using for kite-buggy! For example: 5-12m² : 15m lines. 13 - 15m² : 17 m lines 16m² + : 18 - 20m lines

Hi All, The price of a Chrono is higher yes. But for 1 Chrono u save 3 handle kites... More stable, more safe, and faster. The story about the bridles is incorrect! This is only for the Aramide bridles. They have dyneema bridle's available and they don't need to be changed after 60 hours.
  6. Haha, Nice!!! Good Job man! Good to see some people trying it. But i haven't seen anyone doing it with race-kites I'll try it later with my depowerkites if the wind is okay. Greetings, David
  7. Joel, I hope u compare the original Yakuza in this sentence and not the Yakuza GT? With the GT u can ride upwind tracks with the brake lines totally loose. Then it also will give u the most performance. The 'range' on using the brake lines on the GT is so big that u can almost say it's a race kite with depower. The GT is the kite with the most variation in power using the brake lines, that will give a small advantage when u let the brake's go when u come around the marker to loose the power in the kite after a downwind track. This 'brake line depower' will give a strange impression in the beginning when u fly it. But make sure u take a size big enough and play with the brakes.... I've been using the small Gt's quite a lot now in high wind. And they are not bouncing at all at the edge of the window. Because u can take them a bit larger then other kite's it will give u the stability and u have the brake's to 'play' with. But if u mean the normal Yakuza, i can only say thats correct. Good luck!
  8. Hi Guys, Thnx for the comments. Big thumbs up to my Mate Robert Smits because of the Beautiful pics! For sure it was an 'epic' day. First time out this new year and didn't went freeriding for 6 months. Only did some racing and bad weather,... I was quite powerd up so I 'always' came down softly. My buggy got a few times of me while i was getting some air but everything ended up safe! I never thought this would be so 'easy', to jump with a racebuggy.... And all of this on the standard Ozone lines. 180kg/110kg and my buggy is about 55kg + 85kg = 140kg getting up! Already got some 300kg+ lines to keep it a bit safer. Good flights folks!
  9. I was there to at Buggycamp. Together with Bjorn, malte, florian, jasper we started really as last. Bjorn was going very fast with the 10m². Really Really fast. 20 secs is a lot in a race. I was on the Combat 8.6 and got a lot of guys. But bjorn was way to fast for me. I think the Gt is going to be a good kite. As what I have seen of it. Not bad. But to be honest. I still like my combats more grtz
  10. Daaf, just because my name is David and some guys called me Daaf, now everybody does.
  11. Great pics Daze. Was a very cool weekend.
  12. Nice movie Daze I fly my 15.4 untill 10 knots. (on 18m lines) It's a very fast kite that i like a lot.
  13. Guys, I have tested the ps4 yesterday with the new bar. The bar is realy good. Everything works fine. The Cl is very good to use. Also I u have to spin the bar after a kiteloop or 360. Then u spin the bar. Pull it down to the CL and the lines are untangled. Nice work from Fs
