EvilTwin Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 There dosent seem to be a thread for Aldershot, so i thought i'd start one.... I've seen people most sundays boarding & buggying on Queens Ave. sports pitches, so hopefully some of you are using this fourm. Quote
flurokitty Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 I have just started out with my kite and i'm down the Queens Avenue most nights if you see me there (i'm the one with the tiny rainbow HQ kite) come and say hi. I love to watch you all whizzing around like pros and a bigger kite and landboard are on my wish list! Quote
flurokitty Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 We just got a beamer 5.0 and a landboard so if you see me being dragged face down please feel free to laugh. Quote
Adrena1in Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 I've flown there once, but might go back some time. Good venue. Quote
nigbuzz Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 i fly down there on good days. look out for a 4.5 bullet and a air-s. goin by. Quote
flurokitty Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 I will be there tonight, trying not to get dragged off my feet again! Quote
MadAndy71 Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Whats this place like space and surface wise? Are there many people using it over a sat or sunday? Quote
Adrena1in Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Space wise it's pretty huge really. I seem to remember hearing someone say it's 4 or 5 miles round the perimeter, but that might be way off. Click here for a link. Compare it to the athletics stadium across the road for a rough idea. (Doesn't look 4 miles round to me...2 or 3 perhaps.) Quote
nigbuzz Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 its not that big but i would say a good kilometer round. Quote
Heb Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Where are these playing fields? I'm going to be staying in Farnham for a few weeks from this weekend, but don't really know Aldershot, except the driving test routes - got to know them quite well a few years ago!! Quote
Adrena1in Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Go up to my previous post and click the link for a map. Quote
