Morning All, I am looking to see if anyone kites of the front or in the harbour at Mudeford, this spot is fairly local to me and a lot less busy then Poole. I stopped kiting a year ago due to work commitments but am desperate to get back into it. Happy ridding up wind and body dragging so just looking for people to go out with and learn more. Would be great to here from people. Cheers Matt

Hi there Just wondering if any depower fliers are going to be over Pinkneys Green this sunday that might be able to offer a newbie to depower some advice and tips on setting up and trimming my HQ Montana 9.5m for use on my landboard. Have been flying power kites for a few years but am new to depower. I have read tons of advice and watched plenty on YouTube but there's nothing like a bit of hands on tuition to calm the anxiety for the first few flights.

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone is flying over Pinkneys Green on Sunday that might be able to offer some advise and tips on setting up and flying my HQ Montana depower 9.5m. I have flown power kites for a few years and am progressing into the depower/landboard world and am seeking someone that could share their advise with a potential newbie to depower and show me the ropes.

I've flown recreational for a few years and just starting to play with a buggy. (Thanks to lesson couple weeks ago first outing was good). Is there an area where people fly / buggy around Hastings? The huge football fields out the back of Bexhill Road (Bulverhythe) seems favourite, I flew there last week. Please let me know if there is another location and when as I'd love to pick up tips. Thanks. NB Bulverhythe rec is here https://goo.gl/maps/Ez2gX

Hi All, I have been out of the kiting game for a year or so due to work commitments down south, however have decided that I should make the effort to continue flying whilst away 5 nights a week near to Hook, hampshire. I regularly pass Crabtree plantation, and individuals on this site have said it is a suitable place for both static flying and buggying, however would love to know everyones opinions thanks Emma

does anyone know of anything going on in this area? i can't easily go much further afield as i don't drive... im based in Thatcham and years ago there was a Thatcham kite club but it didn't last long after i joined and i haven't seen anyone flying at Henwick sports field where we used to meet in quite a long time. i haven't been kiting in a few years myself but i recently fished my kite out from the cupboard and iv been wanting to get back into it and brush up on my skills. i can practice with handles by myself though it's pretty boring/lonely but i would like to find a group to fly with as i want someone to teach me to use a control bar soon...

Hi All I had a long chat with the groundsman Steve on Sunday before flying. The new Head of Parks is not pro kiting and although there has been no specific request to stop us, it will not take much! Unfortunately the head of parks witnessed someone wrapping their kite around the Rugby posts, so he has not perhaps seen the best side of the sport. Clearly their main concern is the general public and that all fliers are making the right decisions before flying and are insured. Do you think we should head this issue off and approach John Wade (Head of parks) with the risk assessments and a demonstration again or should we wait until we are stopped and then try a…

Any Kiters around High Wycombe or Pinkneys Green throw a message my way! Me and a couple of mates who are new to the sport are starting to fly regularly and are looking for more to join us! I am landboading and the others are just starting to get the hang of flying with the intent to join me as soon as possible! We will be kiting in Wycombe on the Rye or behind the hospital when winds are right and driving down to Pinkneys green when we can! The more the merrier, any skill level are welcome! Callum

Kids want to go to Hylands today. Anyone light winding up there today? Might be enough for the 9 around lunch time. Is there a designated flying spot as I've never really flown big kites there?
