Hi Guys,

Who's up for a Saturday session this week??? Wind is looking buggyable before lunch so an early start is probably going to be the go. Riverwood looks like the location at the moment unless anyone is keen to try the Walgrove Rd location.

P.S Sunday looks SH#T

Looking like a decent Westerly tommorrow, so I am pretty sure you will be able to run the long way at Rverwood and would be good to get another good session out there. I will be heading out there fairly early prolly 9 - 9:30.

Just doing scissors paper rock with my wife to see who gets the kid and/or the car. I am planning on getting to Riverwood in the morning though... we're up to best out of 327. (I'll win eventually)

Incidentally, there's a bit of rain here at the moment - I'm only 10 minutes down the road from Riverwood - but it doesn't seem to be too heavy.

Don't worry about the rain it will just make the ground softer to land on and let the buggies slide ;)

I quite like the idea of mud - I grew up outside of Orange and spent most weekends ridng dirt bikes in the forest nearby. Back in the days when rain was plentiful, that meant heaps of mud in winter and I gotta say, this whole buggying thing takes me back about 20 years (it feels weird just to say that).

Anyway, paper scissors rock is now up to best out of 529... see y'all tomorrow.........

Morning Rob

Just had a call from that way saying there is a light breeze at the moment and is forecast to increase

Me and Rocket are meeting up at Mona Vale Rd and Forrest Way about 9-30 if you want to join us

I'm currently sitting somwhere between disappointed:( (that I didn't have much time out there today) or glad :) (that I finally got at least a few good runs in and started to get a feel for how everything works). I was starting to really figure things out and needed a bit more time in the buggy to keep working things out, but I was already out of time - so that was that.

Hey, sorry if it seemed like I left abruptly, I wasn't meaning to be rude by not saying goodbye to y'all - I was just out of time and had to go.

Anyway, did have a good time while I was there and I'm looking forward to the next session, which might be the odd afternoon after school for the next few weeks as my weekends are gone for a couple of weeks.

Some good pics there Luke

That was fun today. Bloody gusty but great fun. It did seem to smooth out a little as the arvo went on but i had had enough by then. Some of the loftings make you wonder if it is worth. At the time it seems like NOT but once your home and on the couch you think 'damn... let me at it again'.

Rocket... you wanted to catch an OBE on camera. Well you left too early. How good is this effort by rob?

The 7m bullet looked like it was a handful but he had some great runs on it.

Seems like one and all had fun today.

Thanks for your company guys.

Troy, thanks for suggesting the meet and loaning your 7m bullet.

I wanted to point out the low pressure in my buggy tyres. If you look at the photos mike took you can see the tyre deform and both sides of the rim. Can't say I notice any difference in speed or notice it too much in the slides. I can hear it deform sometimes. I have it this low as it seems to work better for me on the sand. The only draw back is that the inside of the tyre fills with sand and rubbish, which at speed can vibrate like mad when unbalanced.

No worries Rob, just looking at Micks pics (awsome pics BTW Mick!) the one of you getting lofted, hope that is all dirt on your trousers  Good effort with the 7m in the conditions, imagine how fast you would have gone with some air in your tires!!

Great photos schmik, nice capture of that bullet taking him for a ride skyward.

Troy........ your looking very pro these days, your two wheelers look in control and with zero effort required, nice work!

Time you strapped in and take it to another level :)

great stuff!!!!!

I was thinking last night (on panadol forte of course) that maybe the Sydney guys could vote once a month for the "most improved award" just a casual lighthearted thing decided among everybody at the end of each month at a buggy session and all pitch in for a case of beer or bottle of your fave poison!

And perhaps the monthly best OBE award also.

:yes3:
