BobM Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 I've looked at my commitments and the weekend of 1&2 December 2012 is free. There is a low tide around 5 in the afternoon I am thinking of heading to Seven Mile to celebrate the start of summer Anyone else interested? Quote
jdhot Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 If the conditions are right, I'm sure I can muster up the troops for a weekend. JD Quote
BobM Posted October 28, 2012 Author Report Posted October 28, 2012 Leave is booked for the Friday Accomodation is booked at Mountain View for the Friday and Saturday nights Sacrificing a blokart photo to the wind gods every night (Work thinks I'm going to the silly Sydney car race) Quote
jdhot Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Make sure you burn more than a blokart or two Bob If the winds are a blowin' we'll be there with you, haven't been to 7 Mile for ages Will keep in touch mate, keep your phone on. JD PS Winds have been quite favourable of late, had some goods days at Windang, Bonnie Vale & Cronulla Quote
sinbad Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Hey bob, are you coming to kingston after christmas ? Quote
BobM Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 Not this time around, I need to save my leave for an overseas trip in 2013 Quote
BobM Posted November 28, 2012 Author Report Posted November 28, 2012 Looking at the forecasts now, Sunday seems to be an easterly which will mean good long runs on Seven Mile. Friday and Saturday look a bit iffy, but I'm still going no matter what - I'm going to take some study material and some home work I was given; my work is sending me on a course that was two days earlier this month, some homework and then followed by two days in February. Send me a PM if you need my new mobile number Quote
BobM Posted December 2, 2012 Author Report Posted December 2, 2012 Got home last night after 10pm, it seems the kids were driving their mother crazy with "when is Dad getting home" questions. It was great to catch up with Grant JD and Paul. Hadn't seen you guys in ages. I have been given a leave-pass for the Australia Day long weekend - any takers? BobM Quote
jdhot Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 It was great to catch up with you Bob, as you said it's been ages You left at the right time mate, a big front came in for about 1/2hr and left Andrew stranded up the beach a few k's overpowered. I set out on a rescue mission with Grant's 9mtr Frenzy (thanks Grant) to find him and found him rolling back after a few bridle adjustments. Then the rain started to make an appearance, and the chill factor set in. Time to call it quits, again it was good to catch up with you all. As for Aust day weekend, at this stage nothing planned so why not JD Quote
