keith.b Posted April 30, 2013 Report Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks Stewart thought it would be a bit light but just dying to try again. I suppose i could just get in and practice getting the board on my feet. Quote

Rob Davies Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 Went down this morning bit late getting down cross shore so not much kop in the buggy . Practice my tacks back and forth , gave up when the rain came at midday . Beach surface very undulating with quite a lot of broken bottles knocking about . Had dinner whilst watching a couple of kite surfers having fun and getting some big air . Nice to see the entrance onto the beach in good order , also noticed the new lifeguard hut , not impressed by the porta loo cabins can't see them lasting very long ! Hope to catch up with a few of you soon , I'm getting fed up with this naff weather ! Quote
windchaser 73 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 youve been spoilt at hoylake rob. started as a hobby... became an obsession!! Quote
keith.b Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 Thought you had deserted ainsdale Rob. i was going to go today but seen rain and decided not to bother. Going down tomorrow if its not raining to much try and get on the water. Quote
Rob Davies Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 Hoylake is miles better for the length of buggy runs but it needs to be a dry bank and this weekend it wasn't so thought I'd catch up with the Ainsdale crew . Shame no one was down but the weather and wind direction made it hard work .It didn't seem to bother the kite surfers though they were having a great time ! Quote
windchaser 73 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 time t get wet rob started as a hobby... became an obsession!! Quote
Rob Davies Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 My sense of balance is shocking that's why I buggy rather than landboard . Kite surfing looks good fun but think its beyond my capabilities . I must admit I wouldn't mind giving it a try but somewhere with a warmer climate me thinks fuerteventura or t'Egypt would do nicely . Or anywhere with blue crystal clear water ! Quote
windchaser 73 Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 any 1 going down tday. started as a hobby... became an obsession!! Quote

chinook Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 Anybody going Saturday, weather and tides look perfect :):) Quote
keith.b Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 I will be down if forecast doesn't change to much. Quote
B0bby Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Might get down Friday for a tea-time treat - no walking with a tea time HT ....but if that forecast keeps up, Saturday looks like a chilled, mid-teens, sun filled session. Quote
