Went down this morning bit late getting down cross shore so not much kop in the buggy . Practice my tacks back and forth , gave up when the rain came at midday . Beach surface very undulating with quite a lot of broken bottles knocking about . Had dinner whilst watching a couple of kite surfers having fun and getting some big air . Nice to see the entrance onto the beach in good order , also noticed the new lifeguard hut , not impressed by the porta loo cabins can't see them lasting very long ! Hope to catch up with a few of you soon , I'm getting fed up with this naff weather !

Hoylake is miles better for the length of buggy runs but it needs to be a dry bank and this weekend it wasn't so thought I'd catch up with the Ainsdale crew . Shame no one was down but the weather and wind direction made it hard work .It didn't seem to bother the kite surfers though they were having a great time !

My sense of balance is shocking that's why I buggy rather than landboard . Kite surfing looks good fun but think its beyond my capabilities . I must admit I wouldn't mind giving it a try but somewhere with a warmer climate me thinks fuerteventura or t'Egypt would do nicely . Or anywhere with blue crystal clear water !

Looks like a cool Tuesday :)

Bang on high teens, LT around 2 and sunny bits :)

Just need to load a whole load of new tunes in the mp3 and fix a big hole in the wettie and I'm set :)

Might get down Friday for a tea-time treat - no walking with a tea time HT :)

....but if that forecast keeps up, Saturday looks like a chilled, mid-teens, sun filled session.

Not down for Sundays hoolie - bit too much wind for me, I just don't self repair like I used too.

Monday though looks perfecto! A big HT at 12, big teen winds all day, and hopefully big sunny bits!

.....off to Asda to stock up on that lemonade stuff.
