Siimon Posted June 30, 2012 Report Posted June 30, 2012 Hi guys. I'm at uni of liverpool and was thinking of getting back in to kiting come the next academic year (september). Seems like liverpool sucks for kiting from my previous threads searching for people and there's no kiting club at the uni, so have worked out i can get to ainsdale on the train in just over an hour. Was just looking for advice on obtaining permits? I'm an experienced kiter and have helmet/safety on my kite which I use and will have insurance. Do the permits cost at all? Sorry if any of this has been covered before but it is a 25 page thread so forgive me for not going through it all haha. Quote

Rob Davies Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Got there for 9am plenty of beach but not enough wind for my liking . Only clocked 8 mile and top speed 25mph . Wind direction was spot on got a good way down well past the second barrier . A dad and lad were flying a couple of LEI's dad on a buggy lad on a board , they were having a great time . Wind picked up at dinner but the tide was well in by then .
