Hi guys.

I'm at uni of liverpool and was thinking of getting back in to kiting come the next academic year (september). Seems like liverpool sucks for kiting from my previous threads searching for people and there's no kiting club at the uni, so have worked out i can get to ainsdale on the train in just over an hour. Was just looking for advice on obtaining permits? I'm an experienced kiter and have helmet/safety on my kite which I use and will have insurance. Do the permits cost at all?

Sorry if any of this has been covered before but it is a 25 page thread so forgive me for not going through it all haha.

Haven't got a lot of free time, but willing to represent the land side, esp the (3?) J permit holders - need to renew my permit tho :o

Also my son might be able to help with website setting up/hosting if you need it

Are Ainsdale still looking for a club site etc I can run a club site and sort out hosting if needs be.

Anyone going buggying / boarding at ainsdale tomorrow morning early doors ? ( sat 17 nov).

Low water 7.20am nw wind forecast 10mph gusting to 16. Abandon car park before 13.00 cos its a high tide 9.5 metres.

Any takers ? After a good session last Sunday I'm keen to get back . Feel I've been making some good progress lately .

I reckon it I'd be ideal for your venom kite Keith B !

Got there for 9am plenty of beach but not enough wind for my liking . Only clocked 8 mile and top speed 25mph . Wind direction was spot on got a good way down well past the second barrier . A dad and lad were flying a couple of LEI's dad on a buggy lad on a board , they were having a great time . Wind picked up at dinner but the tide was well in by then . Don't think I'll make it back tomorrow Keith , had an early start today think Mrs will kill me if I'm up at same time tomorrow , you watch it the conditions will be spot on tomorrow guaranteed !
