'Ainsdale on sea' club issues

Had an email from Andrew Wormleighton (club chairman). Reads as pretty urgent so here it is -

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since the BKSA got NGB status and the sport got recognition the BKSA need to make sure all Affiliated clubs have clear communication channels.

They require clubs to have both a website with contact details and email (we used to have one but the person running it left the area) and a Facebook page. Without these we will lose Affiliation. We also need committee members to represent the Kitesurfers at meetings like the Beach Users Consultancy group (usually held at the Town Hall). Actually we need a new Committee, and by that I mean people interested in getting involved with the Council etc, as well as anything of a social nature.

Anyone interested please email me , as on the Website etc we need to make a move before the end of the month. Andy.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the last 'Ainsdale on sea' AGM was 2009 so as you can tell the club is a bit outdated and pretty unconnected with it's members.

Come on guys and get involved.

Haven't got a lot of free time, but willing to represent the land side, esp the (3?) J permit holders - need to renew my permit tho :o

Also my son might be able to help with website setting up/hosting if you need it
