7m frenzy has loads of top end. The amount of canopy above you does obviously affect how fast you are going to come down after a jump. However it also depends on the wind speed and lift generated by the kite. i.e if you jump in 20mph with a 10m frenzy your going to have more float then jumping with a 7m in the same wind, but, if you jump with a 7m in more wind, you will have as much float as a 10m in less wind. So don't always assume that a larger kite gives you more float, it depends on the wind you're flying in. oh..and..ummm i might have one for sale:o http://www.flexifoilforums.com/showthread.php?t=89613

You have absolutely no idea what your talking about. 9mARC = 9.5 open foil?????????? The projected area of a 9m phantom is 5.7 for a start. Too tired to explain the whole thing. Nuff said. Tom:)

I snapped up a speed 7m ex-demo for £500 from oceanside. Yet to give it a proper session but just looking at it makes me drool. I'l give a little write up when i try it out at brs nearer xmas.

I'm not going to recommend it, however i am going to say that there are quite a few advantages to learning on an ARC. For a start they are going to be very stable and are less likely to spank you than a blade, they are also easier to fly and more forgiving. For the record i'd say 'get them booked on smoe lessons' however it's unlikely thats going to happen so just use some comons sense, pad up, take it slow, and have fun. Just don't hand it over willy nilly and expect no one to get hurt.

I really enjoy my 7m frenzy in 25-30mph winds, but ONLY if they are clean, i'm also a fair bit lighter than you (60kg) so you should be ok. Remember fear of flying can save you life...

mine didn't work on the first dvd payer i tried, then worked on my other one. Was also a bit disappointed with the footage, bit short really and there's some better stuff online...
