don't get to fly enough - in york at the mo, there is either no wind, or it's raining, or i am at work, and after work it is dark:( weekends have been rubbish for kiting recently

can someone explain to me what wind is, i seem to have forgotten.

It's completely up to the newb, what size kite they start with - as has already been said, noone HAS to take anyone else's advice - would you eat the contents of a toilet?! But there's no harm in listening to advice and considering it if you think it might apply to you. It's just whatever people feel comfortable with for a starter kite. I think it's best to learn from others' experience as you might avoid the same mistakes happening to you. As for starting with an 8.5 Blade... there is NO WAY I COULD do that, but for a strong bloke, if they can manage it, up to them! just so long as there's enough safety awareness for other people -as has also already been said EACH TO THEIR OWN:o

i'd definately buy it! i also think there should be more kiting posters out there, while we're on the marketing subject!

Seeing as I only have two of my own kites at the mo, I can't see me selling either! To be honest, I'll probably always keep them anyway. I want to build up a big collection!!

you could try extremezonesports. i got my samurai for a good price from there - didn't find a brand new one cheaper anywhere else.

like a nice ozone sticker for example? (i have on of these on my car window) - they come when you buy a kite - not sure about free ones i'm afraid!

i dont *personally* leave the toilet seat up, no, but as for the engineering girls that were rubbish at the verbal tasks that girls are usually good at.... who knows??!!! i doubt it though... this experiment was in a way rather speculative, as really, you'd need to work out exactly which areas of the brain are responsible for certain tasks in males and females and see if girls and boys were showing the opposite effects while doing the tasks to see if they had typically opposite brain gender to what you'd expect in that brain region - this is known but i didnt have access to posh brain imaging equipment while doing my dissertation. ANYWAY.... i reckon no girl leaves loo-seat up - this is purely a "bloke" behaviour, engraved deep in the brains of men from the beginning of time (or loo seats...lol) :D

you have seen that video?! it inspried my psychology dissertation - i did this for my psychology dissertation with degree subjects that were typically dominated by males/females and made males and females from each do tests that males and females were meant to be best at. i.e. made male and female engineers do spatial and verbal tasks, and made male and female english lit students do spatial and verbal tasks. males are typically best at the spatial task and females at the verbal task. however, all the engineering students were ****e at the verbal task, regardless of gender, and all the english lit students were ****e at the verbal task - my hypothesis was that depending on whether you have a more typically male or female brain, would effect your life choices, such as degree subject. dont know if anyone understands this brief outline. my dissertation was 8000 words long - was actually very intersting but dont think i'll post on here!

as people above have said.... if you have the cash, go for the samurai. I have a 2.1 LD and love it. Would have got another for my next kite but when the samurai came out, just had to get one - the LD is grrreat but the sam is grrrrrrrrrrreat!!

I'm not sure if they're all gone yet but i hope they are! I have been so annoyed these past few days! There were hundreds of them! Who do they think they are?! GRRRR Ashy should know the answer - he works opposite the knavesmire.......

hey my boyf has the silver and black full face from atmosphere kites - its rather good looking! id recommend it. also good value;)
