    Looking forward to seeing the whole thing. Wondered why there were so many people on the beach so early in the morning. There was virtually no wind that day, but loads of people all flying red kites. They even had one of those wind-machines - often wanted one of them for those no-wind days!

    Just come back from a two week holiday in Aberdovey - and the 3.5m Bullet I bought (through the forum - £130) got as much use as my Venom. Superb kite for windy days.

    My Kheo Flyer is about 3 years old and has a natural bias to the heelside. I tend to have the bindings quite loose so that your foot position is as central on the board as you can get it. When the board is moving at a decent speed it actually becomes less of a problem as you'll find yourself naturally compensating on the toe side. Hope this makes sense

    We've already got a Flexifoil Sting and a Peter Lynn Venom its only a matter of time until we get the Ozone Weever 16m.

    Given the issues with the Zero4 bar - leash snagging and now a product recall in France, PL should be focusing on the bar rather than poncing around with those naff colours.

    Its my 40th Birthday on Wednesday and I've decided to treat myself to a de-powerable kite. I am pretty sure that a Venom 13m or 16m will tick most of my boxes, but I have some concerns over solo launching and landing. Some threads suggest that this could be the kites major downside. Does the DVD supplied with the kite offer any useful pre-purchase information? If it does would anyone care to burn me a copy in exchange for some beer vouchers?

    I've flown both my own BIII 4.9 and a mates BIII 4.0 on the same day, same conditions. The additional pull on the 4.9 was significant. Go 4.9 every time! As for Bar Vs handles, I started with a Bar and switched to handles recently. My boarding has progressed significantly since doing so as I feel I have much greater control.

    Pity you can't send your broken body parts to the flexifoil repairs department as I understand they can turn repairs around in 10-14 days and usually you can't see the join. Wishing you a speedy recovery
