  1. I'm selling all my gear. Currently selling this kite on eBay. Very clean kite that has honestly seen very little use. Still a bit crunchy! A real bargain for someone. A great all rounder for those of you who have not experienced one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=320374269907 Also will be selling my Peter Lynn Folding buggy Excellent condition with deluxe seat. (Searching for one of the straps at the moment hence 'will be for sale') Open to offers but prefer uplift; courier will be about £30. If interested I can email pics of the buggy and seat. (New seat about £30)
  2. These auctions end tomorrow afternoon. Worth a look!
  3. Folks I'm selling my 2002 F9.5m Frenzy and Dakine Fusion Seat Harness. The harness is Large 34"-36" with a 11" spreader. They are both in mint condition. The Frenzy and harness have only had a max of 6 outings and never on the beach. The kite is still crispy and like new. Advertised on eBay. No reserve. Pickup is welcome. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=320310897354 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=320310902808
  4. Have a great time guys I reckon I'm back to full fitness so will see you on your return to hear the stories. Have fun and dont get injured!!! Unless its being filmed! The bevvy is extortionate by the way! A mate from Aberdeen is not long back and he said it was so expensive he hardly drank while he was there! (He is an Aberdonian though!)
  5. Took the kite but no wind in the valley and a bit too nuch at the top also things didn't work out just as planned: AWESOME POWDER!!!!!!! First 2 days were incredible. Waist deep lightest powder ever!! That was from a mate who did 2 seasons at Val and one at Kicking Horse! Shame I managed to have a massive wipeout between runs for our GS championships. Managed to break my skis and pulled ligaments in my ankle. A freak injury but better than doing in a knee! Anyway borrowed skis for my second run and minced down in a bit of discomfort to say the least. Couldn't ski till the last day (my foot wouldn't fit in the boot!). Managed on Friday: Brufen gel, bandages, oral brufen and lots of Gluwein. Nice day but skied like a wendy, but nice to be out and about! Took the kite but no wind in the valley and a bit to scary at the top. Anyway once I was there the only thing I was thinking off was a wee hike/ traverse and find the virgin white stuff. Oooooooohh!!
  6. Thanks for that Flying Wolfman. I had started to think it might not be worth while, but since the two valleys run parallel and there is quite a bit of open ground to the west I think I might take it!
  7. Hows the back Jim. Side forces being the order of the day!
  8. Absolutely. I'm Linlithgow based and often (well occasionally) got through to Camelon Park (which is on stirling Road) I might try a bit of East Lothian come the longer days though.
  9. Strange as I was thinking Glas Maol area would be good if the tow was closed all over the south side of the bowl could be great. Anyway off there to ski tomorrow, so will look at it all through different eyes.
  10. I have a cracking pair of neoprene gloves which are the business for colder days. Not sure where retails them though. Bike gloves or canoe/windsurf gloves would be an option.
  11. What about a second hand blade II. They cross the board/buggy divide (before Flexi realised they could make them better by making them more soecific and increase their sales at the same time.)
  12. Does anyone know if there is anywhere worthy of kiting here. Do I take my frenzy or leave it at home and concentrate on the real job at hand? I seem to remember a large open area right at the top of the valley. I was competing in a cross country so not really looking around at the view. Anybody got any ideas.
  13. They do adjust in length. Maybe some folks aren't as supple. I suppose I am scrunched a bit but it doesn't affect me. As I say try it out and see if its for you or not, its the only way to find out for sure!
  14. Commander Dave Furmage is a good 6' and I am about the same I've had a PL folding for 2 or 3 years and I like it muchly. I'm a bit more than 15 and am not very skinny! They are very good for freestyle! As has been said if speed is your thing maybe a different buggy! See if you can have a borrow of one. Most people are happy for you to have a go

    Harness Options

I reckon it really has to be a seat harness. Other than that I'm open to suggestions.
