  1. I just hope management give the hard working posties what they want and end this strike, so we can enjoy a smooth handover .
  2. Is it a sammi 1 or 2 and what colour is it?
  3. Barrows pumped up hard always served me well on Pendine, it takes a while to dry out so more often than not you're in the wet stuff.
  4. I got my reminder and card/insurance came back 2 weeks l8r .
  5. Careful m8y you can't get towed back if we're not there LMAO.
  6. Andy, I stayed at Beach on Saturday night and although it might be a bit rough around the edges the view in the morning is awesome and the landlady is very pro kite what more could you ask for . Dieter well done chap I will be down on Friday order up a nice SE for the weekend theres a good fellow .
  7. Just put up a new website at www.jolba.vispa.com under photos and videos you should find 5 videos any feedback welcome.
  8. I have the same problem with speed data when I save and I'm using memory map software which isn't free. Again If I just upload the active log I get it. There must be some way of saving velocity data but I haven't worked it out yet .
  9. I cross the border into Wales like you say too many trees in the forest. Be good to get a local spot though for those balmy summer evenings . Selsleys a bit far for me, takes me the same time to get to pembrey from here.
  10. I might pop down and inspect the ground at some point I've never seen any buggies on there but have often wondered . Do you park by the tennis centre?
  11. I use memory map with my etrex and with the international version you can scan in your paper maps.
  12. A m8 of mine got lofted over 6 ft once with a 2.1 LD and he's a lardy cake as well. I've got a 3m LD and find it excellent in gusty conditions up to about 30 mph then I swap to my 1.5 bullet which IMHO is better than the 1.5 LD. I've done a comparison between the 1.5 bullet and LD and found the bullet had notiicably more grunt .
  13. As Herbs said we fly at Talgarth common most weekends. If you pm Herbs or myself with your email addy we'll send you directions. It can be a bit gusty at times but that makes it even more fun Its a hugh space and not as many picnicers as up by the mountain center .

    Pendine

Nigmill is Archie the rest of us were at Wallop, sounds like it was a good weekend on the beach as well .
  15. Are both Libre and the shop suggesting your a fat bloater nigmill
  16. Problem is the shop he got it from are impossible to contact. There has been 3 of us trying to contact them for over a week now with no replies to emails or answer phone messages. Personally I think a libre full race would be the perfect replacement for Nigmill's dwarf like stature but whatever he decides he's only got a week and a day before wallop .
  17. He'll have to watch the razor shells on Pendine or he'll lacerate his ass big stylie .
  18. I'm just round the corner from you then in Ruardean. We ought to get together sometime, I go flying most weekends.
  19. I can get a flexi in the back of my Fiat Doblo with the seats down without taking it to bits. My Iguana is a different matter though I'll need a transit for that.
  20. I'm thinking of trying it up there as I'm in the forest of dean and there's too many trees there for any buggy cruises . I usually go into Wales I found a mahoosive common near hay on wye but Cheltenham would be closer and its always good to have a few flying spots methinks .
  21. Cheers Carlos we're thinking of going down in a couple of weeks and I don't want to have to stumble too far at the end of the night .
  22. Carlos, do you know how many rooms they've got at the beach hotel? and have you got any contact details. I agree with you its a top place to stay a nice relaxed atmosphere.
  23. I've got an Iguana and take the axel off to transport it. It only takes a couple of minutes re-attach it and then its such a smoooooth ride. If you've got a small car you'd have to get a bike rack to put it on. Thankfully I've got a van so its no problem.
  24. Indeed, you can't tame mother nature and there's always that rogue gust waiting to nail you .
